Whatever the randomness of the public games feature throws at me. In the beta, however, if we're talking about killing speed, it's nice to be paired with a wizard or barb. The wizard can kill things with 1 arcane orb even if not too geared. The barb can cover ground pretty fast with leap and 1-shot a group with cleave if somewhat geared. Everyone else has either limited movement, or their AOE isnt quite up to par. Viable, yes, but they are no Wiz/Barb. But that's just beta...

Not boring at all to me. I suppose I was one of the first lucky ones to win a key by posting in these forums. As a testament to how much I've been enjoying the game... I wound up getting all achievements but the one where you have to revive one of every class (you would have to have people voluntarily die to get that one.. although I WAS lucky enough to group with a crappy wizard who died).
Anyways, once I got to 13 with each, I had a decent time trying to max my character's DPS by farming blue items and playing the auction house. Got around 80-90 dps on each excluding the witch doctor... the beta just doesn't offer good items for the WD.
I think the main thing for me about diablo is the mass destruction. They throw huge groups of monsters at you and you can just mow them down with your aoe. That combined with the item explosions that the packs of monsters give upon death feels awesome.
