i saw that some of these bad boys shoot homing rockets with the right runes.
so I got nostalgic for some Goldeneye...
and made a badass rocket character.
But also taking advantage of traps.
You know-- lay some traps then run away and shoot rockets.
Just like the bunker....

I'm going to have to be the one dissenter here, I played D2 a fair amount and magic find was always one of my biggest annoyances--I would spend hours and hours doing runs in my MF gear to get all this badass gear, but I never got to use the badass gear: because I felt like I would be wasting my time if I wasn't MFing. I totally get the idea that Diablo is a game about gear wealth and so MF is, in a way, the core affix; However, I NEVER had much fun MFing in D2. I had fun dominating hell baal with some insanely overpowered beast of a build in like 5 seconds, or planning the next insanely overpowered build. Unfortunately, I'm one of those gamers that does the most efficient thing (and all of us on this forum probably are) so I spent 90% of my D2 time MFing.
Having to spend so much time doing the boring stuff seems like it flies in the face of the new Blizz philosophy: don't punish gamers for wanting to enjoy the game. SO-- I don't know if MF will end up the same as it was in D2, BUT I definitely hope they do something to kill that monotony (I don't think inferno is enough, they are kidding themselves if they think we won't find the most efficient part of inferno to run)
On an unrelated note, (sorry) this beta contest is a great way to get people into the community. I have been stalking this site, essentially daily, for at least 5 years-- and just today, I am making my first post (this one).
