I wonder what happens if

That makes sense. Especially if they track the items and gold too - that way they can also bust the dummy account.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I wonder what happens if
youthey hand it to a friend though if they just delete the stuff or if the friend gets a ban as well.

I just saw the first ban wave hit - gj Blizzard, truly.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I was wondering why bans come as waves, not as an continuous process..? Today we (hopefully) have few or no active botters left - fingers crossed. However, they will likely reemerge. Unless these waves are very frequent, then botters and hackers will be an issue again until the next ban wave.
Also, the ban wave was announced about a day in advance. It is no secret that farming requires gear. The announcement a day before would allow botters/hackers to stash away their precious gear+gold on another account until the bans hit, then level a new char, re-equip the gear and continue. I know buying another account is no small thing, but still I am curious why bans are announced in advance...?
If any of you active forum readers can provide with insight or possible reasons, I would like to hear it.
Keep it constructive! No "I got banned wrongfully!!" in here - write to costumer service.
Thanks for reading this

Thankful somebody brought up Threatening Shout, I love that skill. -20% dmg is huge, and falter makes it even more defensive. However, I just love the Grim Harvest rune for more loot ;)Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
I can see the idea in Berserker Rage for increased dmg without fury spenders, but I actually like Rend - Blood Lust to generate even more health. It ticks for like 1.5-2k for me, which is roughly 160hp per sec per mob, plus it deals AOE dmg.
I cleared act1 inferno only though. Got about 55k hp and 73% dmg reduction. Not nearly the same resistances though, can see I need to work on that.

I'm not even sure why I'm reading these posts anymore. I thoroughly enjoy the game and the difficulty (got barb in act1 Inferno) and I know plenty of people who agree completely.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
However, the solution is simple: If you don't like it, quit whining and quit playing. Or just settle for Hell difficulty if you can't take the heat in Inferno. Playing all 5 classes to Hell will give you plenty of fun gaming, and honestly still worth the price.

I love the "i wanna be a unique and special snowflake!!" QQ threads. Who cares if someone copies you? It does not effect you one bit, maybe your ego, but otherwise, its not worth crying about.
Love this.. I can't take it either.. And to top it off, no one knows the balance of the skills.. or how things change up with balance patches. Quench your tears, sit back and enjoy the game. It's a cooperative game, not a competition.

Sigh.. Ridicules amount of theory crafting threads about min/maxing builds, when no one has a clue as to how the encounters will work, the need for defensive skills/passives, and last but not least - gear! Who is to say what gear affixes you can or will get? Maybe you will get a gear affix that boosts frenzy+maniac? Or maybe bash+onslaught? Or something completely different, that you have not factored into your build at all?Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
So most theories might even be severely flawed, regardless of effort, due to lack of information.
And with the experimentation enabled with the skill system, it isn't even necessary!
My advice is to put down the calculators and spreadsheets, play, have FUN, experiment, get gear and THEN figure out how to do it right.

And as a bonus info, you can install the game on the day prior to launch. Think its like, 8 in the morning PDT (Can never ever remember whether that's PM or AM, where I live it's 00.00 - 24.00)Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Anyone know if you need your login in order to install the game?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
A "workaround" could be getting the install client from one who has the digital download and download it when download is eligible, IF you don't need your key. I have preordered a physical copy, but i'm playing with the thought of doing it this way to speed up the process.
After that, it would just be a matter of adding the code from the box to B.net account and log in.

One does not simply raise a cupcake with a ... what is that thing..? An edible cardiac event?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
In any case, they serve two different purposes: desert/snack vs. meal.
