posted a message on Huge issues with getting broken promise to proc.

    "After 5 CONSECUTIVE ....... C O N S E C U T I V E ......... non-critical hits, your chance to critically hit is increased to 100% for 3 seconds."

This ring is intended for people who want to try builds that use almost no crit chance. The item is in no way broken it does exactly what it says in the tooltip.

The problem is people don't understand what consecutive means. For the legendary power to proc, you need to score 5 white damage hits one after another WITHOUT any critical in between. So from 25 - 30 % crit chance up, it is almost impossible to proc the power.

This ring is used in builds that have as low crit chance as possible either from items or paragon points. So the lower your character crit chance the better the chances to proc the power. It has nothing to do with atack speed lol.

    Use your brains.

posted a message on Teasers for the next expansion?
    Quote from Horazon99go-next

D3 changes so much due to different view on the game, so D4 probably will come out in end of 2016-2017. Like Greece, keep saving a sinking ship is almost waste of time. Make a new one.

This is the most logical aproach any company would take , so I bet my miserable salary we would have at least confirmation/video of D4 before the5 year anyversary of D3

posted a message on Teasers for the next expansion?

I still can't believe people think that D3 second expansion won't be announced at this year's Blizzcon.

So what if they provide massive content in the form of patches? They are one of the biggest game dev team on the planet with over 30 milion units sold( d3 + Ros). This is D3 not D2. The player base is not the same as 15 years ago. They need these content patches to keep the game alive.

The art direction for D3 and it's expansions were done long time ago, even before the Art Director left the team. The job opening for Diablo
states specifically: "Blizzard Entertainment, the developer of the most epic games in the world, is seeking an exceptionally skilled and passionate art director to help develop Blizzard’s next hit game"

If in your books , a next hit game means a second expansion to an allready hit game, then stop wasting time reading this and go live your life. But for me, those dark side hints the OP mentioned, + this:

http://www.diabloii.net/blog/comments/blizzcon-2015-media-invites-diablo-iii ( Hint: look at the face of the Crusader, and yea, that is a Diablo 3 crusader not the one from HOTS) are more than enough for a new expansion reaveal at blizzcon.

You don't need a new art director for a game that was released almost 4 years ago and whose art is allready done even before it's release.

They can't really transform this game into what it's original scope was( remember the 2008-2009 videos ) all they can do is fix and improve the mess that Jay Wilson left us with and go full steam ahead on the "Blizzard’s next hit game" in the diablo universe.

posted a message on Peanut butter expansion time ?

    For the poster above:

    1) A dev confirmed i an old interview, back in 2012 or 2013 that D3 was designed as core+2 xpac

    2) Travis Day i think it was, who in a live stream , playing with some streamers confirmed that Diablo4 IS definately coming

Diablo 3 (The version that was released) did NOT take 10 years to develop.

The first iterationof D3 was almost ready by 2005-2006 but the team was fired or they left, i don't know the details.

    https://www.google.ro/search?q=diablo 3 2005&biw=1366&bih=670&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CB4QsARqFQoTCI6j-ubglMcCFQFYLAod5BAFWQ

The second iteration , of which we have the 2008 Gameplay video available on youtube was also heavily modified at (re....cough...tard and casual) players complaints that it was " too colourful" was also massively modified into the mediocre version we know play.

Not taking in consideration the Blizzard North version of the game,D3 should have shipped way earlier than 2012, my bet being somewhere mid-late 2010.

Those who have been playing since initial release can surely confirm what kind of disapointment the players expressed a few weeks after release, and i'm not talking about AH or Allways Online aspects, but about how the game got even more colourful, lifeless and "casualised" , many considering D2 still being superior in all aspects regardless of graphics capabilities and engine.( Proof being the ongoing ladder resets, yea, even now in 2015 and going strong)

All of this because, after WOW's release and massive succes, ActiBlizzard used the same model/pattern of developing games as that of WOW, thinking this will assure top quality products.

And it did: for like 5-max 10% of buyers. People expected to get an improvent or at least the same level of quality as in D2, a true ARPG succesor to the KING.

Now, as for Diablo 4, i'm sure that after they saw what the reaction was to D3, they most surely started planing and even lay out the foundations for D4.

Path of exile had and still has a number of devs which you can count on your fingers and still managed to ship a very solid game for the right playerbase.Their goal was a true Isometric ARPG intended for fans of the genre and they shipped exactly that.

Blizzard tried to please the whole spectrum of players and the result was...what we had prior to Jay Wilson's reign.

I'm sure that the Diablo team ( which i think is somewhere in the 30-40 devs, maybe more) allready started work on D4 as early as 2013. The Content patches we get are nowere as dev demanding as people think, more like testing demanding. Diablo2 Median XL achieved what 10 expansions couldn't, and with just 1 or 2 guys.

Of course, for the new Diablo to be truelly good and develop on the things that made D2 so great they need to start from scratch, diregarding annything D3 related (not story related, obviously) and that requires time, but i think that by late 2016-17 we should see at least some screenshots or a confirmation of it, and a release somewhere close to 2020, although there is no reason for such a long time, becasue apart from a new D3 expansion to wrap up the storyline it set, they can't produce any more money out of it.

RedPortalDevice - Can be used inside a tainted abode to open portals to realms of pure evil
RedPortalDevice - Clashing gears and foul magic grind away within this cursed construct. Its malevolent passage can only be unleashed inside a house of the damned

I wonder: What/where could this "tainted abode/house of the damned" be?I allready imagine myself searching for every house in Old Tristam.
