Even if I dont have the beta, I watch a couple videos and did my homework, but didnt find anything about this matter. Does anyone know if blizzard is implementing something to avoid excesive, boring kiting, mostly from hc characters? Even if I like kiting mobs, theres a difference between "kiting" and what most ppl ended doing back in d2.
Thanks for the quick reply guys. So what is the perks of hardcore? Better loot or is it for the sheer challenge? I find it a game mode that would intrest me later on.
The only, but awsome, perk you get is having WAY more fun with your character :).
They have said hardcore death in arena wont be permanent, there will be a "friendly duel" type of arena.
Jay Wilson wants to implement permanent death for hardcore PvP as a second choice thought, probably coming later, in a patch.
Does anyone know how is arena going to work for HC characters? Is it gonna be SC only? Is it gonna be available for HC but without perma death? or is it gonna be just perma death arena? Im just wondering since even if Im interested in playing HC i may end making a SC alt for PVP purposes if arena involves perma death. why? well, arena seems WAY too random. You could either be matched against some ppl way above ur level or just have some bad luck and have ur partner dc and BOOM! ur out of the picture. I do know HC is all about that, but single player (or duels) are about how can YOU take care of ur characters life, arena on the other hand, may be tricky. Ok, to sum up, does anyone have any clue?
