    I really love this build for when I'm just chilling and want to level some gems or rift solo. Clearing grift 60s faster than two minuters per run which is great for the gems, you can go all out speed since you don't have to stop and loot stuff killing is all that matters. Awesome build man!

    From what I understand, pets do not gain a damage boost from the Reilana's passive (due to it not affecting sheet damage or something, I might be wrong), whereas mages' damage is boosted by scythe of the cycle. Anyway, the essence regen is a huge damage boost for the singularity rune, which is pretty much the only viable solo pushing Rathma build as far as I understand. Any yeah, Army of the Dead is useless. I found that with spikes+dizzying curse, Anciant Parthan Defenders will keep you alive even in higher rift levels (cleared 95 on non-season with Rathma build).


    There's a couple Rathma in top EU rankings (think the highest cleared 98-99ish, but there's a few more a bit further down the list), so it's nice to see the set being able to perform decently even past the gearing phase (although tragoul's is obviously better).

    Just a random question out of curiosity: why are suggestions posted on this forum? I mean, I get that the diablo community is a lot more active over here than at Blizz forums, but does any of the Blizz people even come here? Is it worthwhile providing feedback or suggestions here that are ultimately intended for developers and not just the playerbase?


    Don't get me wrong, I really like many of the ideas that pop up here, and there's some really valid criticism sometime, but does it trickle back to the actual D3 staff?


    Sorry for going off-topic! Those Runes looked really interesting.

    Well, the thing is, Runewords would just be another layer of additional power creep to the game. As was said, they can't be too powerful, but if they're going to be just slightly better of what we already have, it'll just mean people will go out of their way to farm them just to push that extra level or two of grifts. To me, a rework of paragon levels or a change to the skill system would probably provide a lot more diversity, but that's just idealistic thinking from me.

    More diversity? There's already a crapton of diversity if you're willing to play suboptimally; adding runewords would not change this at all as people would just use the best ones and 95% of them would never see play on the leaderboards.

    Highest season solo rift: Cleared 82 as LoN lashing tail monk

    Highest season group rift: Cleared 98 as support monk (random pick-up group)

    Highest off-season solo rift: Cleared 95 as Rathma necromancer


    Plans for season 11:

    Undecided about main class, but choices are between monk (I really want to push rifts and monk seems to be in high demand), necro, crusader, and wiz. I want to join an active clan; I tend to get tired of diablo when I am playing alone and there is no one to push content with. I hope that being in a clan that actively pushes rifts, I will maintain interest for the entirety of the season. Likewise, I think playing more than one class will offer some variety too.

    None of the above.


    Personally, I want to see new classes, maybe higher level cap (along with a paragon level reset), and a rework on the way that skills work so customization is actually viable and there isn't just one best option always (some variant of the D2 skill tree perhaps).


    In terms of smaller changes, just some quality of life stuff; new consumables, a way to reroll stats on primals without losing the primal quality, more Heroes of the Storm-esque quests (i.e daily/weekly quests for rewards apart from challenge rift).


    One cool thing in particular would be a re-introduction of the Auction House, except players would not be able to sell things, only buy. Basically an auction vendor that would sell highly desirable items on a weekly basis; ancient/primal set-items/weapons/jewelry, unique transmog recipies, pets, etc, etc. People with tons of gold can bid on it.
