Yes because I have disposable income.
Some of the new stuff looks interesting I guess.
I just hope the new areas are much much larger and more random/interesting.

Since the game is non-competitive (except for that brawling garbage) I don't really see a problem with screwing around with saves. I did it a lot in D2 with friends of mine. We'd all drag our machines into my garage, try out some weird builds, see how high we could pump our character performance and generally mess about.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Write it down. Link the build. I don't watch videos. Why do people who make videos feel the need to show their faces in them? At least if you write it up properly people can skip to the parts which are important/relevant to them and their current situation.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura

Just go play something else for a while and check this site every now and then. There are so many amazing games coming out, and many of them are cheap! As soon as something actually happens or is announced it'll be on the frontpage of Dfans. In the meantime, why not play some Company of Heroes 2?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

This game desperately needs a massive slab of content. The xpack better be huge. This is putting aside all the other problems.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

All they have to do is offer a vanity pet for Wow players to get the sales figures up.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Done. I would be lying if I said the gold wasn't an incentive but I know how hard it is to get people to fill out surveys for university. I had to resort to bribery in the plaza at lunch time. "Free slice of pizza if you fill this out!"Posted in: Off-Topic

You'll die or run out of mana then die if you're not killing mobs within the range of your passive ability which is giving you life/mana % per kill.Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
You're also reducing the cooldown of your abilities per kill. This means you need to kill enough mobs in a certain short period in order to keep everything going. You can, if you kill mobs quickly enough, keep spirit walk up constantly (which is regenerating mana while active with the rune).
It's also much cheaper to continuously channel fire bats than to start and stop it, that'll drain you.

I've never played a public game and don't plan to. I play with my limited number of friends on occasion but besides that it's all solo. Why? Some of the reasons mentioned but mostly because I don't like being a hindrance to others who are better than me and I don't like babysitting people worse than me.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I'd like to see the druid come back. I loved my werewolf build in D2. As mentioned by people already we're a str based class short at the moment and no-one's making use of shields in a big way....Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I've actually really been wanting to use a shield for something offensive.
Anyway, I'm sure whatever it is will be a massive initial let down that gets over-buffed then over-nerfed and ends up wasting our time for the first three months while they redo all the skills and abilities from scratch.
I'd like to see another follower too, at least one, and more power/diversity in their abilities. At the moment we've got someone giving us 3% crit and witty comments.
