    yea i was really excited aswell for the primals and i hoped version 1 will come back.

    I don't think version 1 is a good deal. To be honest +20% stats that doesn't affect CHC, CHD and other things is not bery imaginative. What iactually wished is that you could reroll ANY properties on the primal ancient item that you found including secondaries. This would make them true end game items. If you get the legendary item that you want primal ancient you will never ever need another one which is a good deal considering the low drop rate. Just have them cost 50 souls 100 db and 200 of each mat to reroll properties. And maybe lock the main atribute of the Character that got it dropped (except for class items).

    The problem is that they are not PoE players ranting about other games. They are actually Diablo fans that have grinded this game a lot and eventually decided to quit because of lack of new content and gameplay issues. They switched to PoE, WoW or any other game and they are giving their opinion on the current state of D3 after experimenting other things. I haven't ever played PoE but i might just try it out.

    What's really fucked up is the GR meta in this game. Eventually progression slows down once you have all gear ancient at let's say 85% perfection. At that point all you have to do is level up gems/paragons/augment items. The problem with this is that is conditionated by the people you play GRs with. Public GRs lobbies are a complete shitshow and a good and stable group is hard to find.


    You could say there is a lot of builds to try out. But the effectiveness is always conditionated by gems/paragons/augments. At that point you probably quit the game until next season just to see what's new. I haven't played PoE but i'm quite sure it's much better than D3 at this point. Playing for leaderboards takes an insane amount of time and even solo leaderboards requires to go multiplayer just for the upgrades.

    There is alredy focus on when you use the skills. If you use any build that relies on a cicle or mayor resource spending then you want to time it with CoE.

    Testing Broken Promises i found you can do the same and just whenever it procs spend all resource. But this will happen randomly so is better for generator builds or stuff like that.

    The real problem is that even if you get a primal ancient one it can come with 2 or more bad rolls so an ancient one will be better. That's happened to me 2 times alredy. Just don't focus too much on perfect gear and focus on xp/augments.

    In the comment section someone said that we should stop complaining and start making suggestions. Here are mine for Demon Hunters which is the class that i understand the best:


    Elemental Arrow:

    You use this build with Kridershot (EA generates 3-4 hatred) and Augustine's Panacea (More effects for each rune) in your off-hand. This legendary combo itself can be combined both for Marauder's and Unhallowed Essence and with LoN (not as effective).


    Chakram:

    You use this build with Sword of the Ill Will (Chakram damage is increased by 1.4% for each point of hatred you have) and Spines of Seething Hatred (Chakram generates 3-4 hatred). Works with both sets as well.


    The problem they both have is that these skills become a generator/primary skill (you are not going to be using a primary generator when your spender can generate resource itself) but not completely. EA and Chakram don't work with the next things: Simplicity's Strengh, Depth Diggers, Hunter's Wrath.

    These 3 items all affect primary skills that generate resource, but both skills work as a semi-secondary-generator. This is not the same for Karlei's point or The Gavel of Judgment for Barbs as these legendaries makes them RETURN resource not generators themselves. Why can EA/Chakram work with UE 6pc bonus (which clearly says "generators") but not these other legendaries? They act like secondary skills and they don't at the same time making them trash tier builds.


    Spike traps:

    This is a separate problem as there is no set that buffs them so you are forced into LoN with this build:


    The Demon's Demise (legendary hand crossbow) makes the spike traps explosion trigger an additional time. And that's all it gives, it doesn't even come with spike traps damage %.


    Trag'Oul Coils (legendary bracers) allows you to deploy spike traps twice as fast and they get the impale rune (Crowd control but no damage)

    As you can see this is just very underwhelming in the 40.000% damage increase meta.


    This skill can be fixed adding a specific quiver for spike traps. We have things like "bolas now explode instantly" or "hugering arrow has additional 25% chance to pierce" which are completely useless effects while we could have an useful one for spike traps.


    I suggest something like "Spike traps deal 100% damage per spike trap you have deployed" (Max is 5 with Custom Engineering) "Spike traps recharge time is reduced by 80-100%" that way you could actually use them as a hatred spender. "Spike traps trigger for free (does not remove the trap) when you deploy another spike trap" this would be affected by Demon's Demise and they would make a nice combo.


    Just overall balance some things please not just for Demon Hunters but for other classes as well.

    When i try to create a build and try to select weapon/jewlery legendary powers all i can select is armor powers like the screenshot shows. I've tried refreshing the page and log in/log out from my account but it still happens...

    Same thing happens to me. I mostly play DH which actually has the biggest diversity in useful builds. Still there are some things like elemental arrow, chakram, cold grandes, LoN spike traps that simply don't work because bad in-game mechanics. It is very easy to balance this things to the 40,000% impale damage just by fixing the way they interact with legendary gems and other legendary items.


    Cold skills are terrible since mobs eventually become inmune to freeze. Rimeheart/frostburn combo which could make a lot of interesting cold builds interesting is fully useless instead.


    Can't imagine how bad that feels on a WD with only one build for grs.

    I have 10 Mbps stable with Ethernet connection to the router still getting code 2 error when trying to log into diablo. I can play any Steam online game (dota2, csgo) only lagging on very rare ocasions. D3 somehow lags more often and i get the code 2 error at least once per day.
