I just got my WD to 60 today and was finally able to throw on some gear I had been saving while trying out some new stuff in 1.0.4 and holy crap!Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru Eikura
The only thing I have bought is the weapon, and that was just to see how high I could get my dps. My max is capping at close to 60k. I have no idea what the highest DPS is, but if you change up my build to this: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#SZUdVY!dYW!cbcYcZ you would be able to get 40% damage increase combined with a 50% Intelligence increase. With Soul Harvest no other class can even come close to touching that high of a main stat.
Even if it isn't the highest possible dps build it seems to be pretty effective. I am really liking Ghost Bombs huge AOE, and Haunt is a good single target that even goes through walls. Sacrifice is always loads of fun when it clears a screen as well.

This is the kind of stuff that I wanted answered in the game guide, and based off a lot of the responses that blizzard got from the fansites it seemed like a large amount of people wanted to know actual game mechanics, and not the BS that they gave us.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Hopefully they get on that stuff sooner than later.

I like the first build better with runes specced to damage reduction. If you get straight stacks you can do 65% damage reduction to all enemies that you pulled in with cyclone strike after a third strike from crippling wave. Would also put stun on lashing tail kick for even more control. All that should let you tank better than relying completely on evasion.Posted in: Monk: The Inner Sanctuary

Well I am guessing that you are only going to see skill affixes on class specific weaponry, which is how it was in D2 I believe. That should cut down on the code amount to make at least every skill have 2 affix.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I hope that this just applies to skills in general and not a specific runed skill. That would take away a lot of customization.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I got all my guys to 60+ pretty easily even with my DH that is gold find and my WD that is magic find. High is my Monk that is about 76 dps.Posted in: PvP Discussion

My solo monk build.
There is the 3 hit combo strike that I will be using as I dash around to different enemies to avoid damage and being surrounded. Using LTK and SSS to kill elites and priorities as I get down in health will not only deal tons of damage, but also help heal me to sustain my fighting potential longer. Because I view it as a solo build there is no mantra because I don't think the effects are great enough when used by only 1 person. Would probably have the Enchantress by my side for additional crowd control help.
