YA the butcher is supposed to be the Act 1 boss and Izzy making a reappearance would be amazing because i was wondering more about him because he was so interesting to me. All we got to c of him was to kill him and hear what Tyreal and him say about each other. Mephy i have not heard about coming back and i don't think he will really unless the trio makes a brief appearance but we ain't really going to c them to fight them.
Also, regarding the visions. In Diablo 2 Marius also had a vision of how Tyrael imprisoned Baal within Tal Rasha. He even had some vision of Tristram before meeting the Wanderer. And we know that he wasn't possessed - the visions were sent to him. Perhaps Leah's visions are all the same - sent by some demon, either Azmodan or the ones trapped in black soulstone.
Alright i c where ur coming from but the visions of death and everything that saw of tyreal sealing baal and what leah saw r different. Now it u want to take on what he said in the begining with him having nightmares about the evil coming and pertaining them to leah's then i can c it and u make a valid point. Why i say they are different first of all is because Marius saw the glympse of the past there because diablo was showing him hey this is who we were looking for and look what this angel did to him, Leah she is seeing Azmodan come to her in a dream and talking to her because he is fore warning her of what he is doing. That posses another question for me then because if our theries of Leah are correct who was he talking to was it Leah or was it the essence of Diablo insisde of her. I know i am being farfetched in my ideas but i see how plauseable they are or at least to me they are plausable. I have seen some theroycrafting about Diablo planning everything out and if thats true then im wondering if everything is going to his plan and how he thought it all up to go the way he wants it if i didn't go all according to plan.
Lol i see. Like i know all the basics of the lore and i have been reading the lore and story post on this section of the forum so i have gotten a lot of info fom there and I have been watching ForceSC2stratedgy for his content on D3 and his lore series so i have a decent handle on the lore. I havn't been able to pick up the books and i would love to get a better idea on what the other angels, demons, Tathemet, and even trang' oul because fro what i have read Trang' oul was the gaurdian to keep the balance of good and evil and im starting to really get off topic sorry. Mostly though fro meverything i have read and seen I have a good feeling that Leah is going to be the main character that brings back Diablo's return.

Ah ok ic so the black soulstone is like a power syphon that takes power away from the entity they decide to use it on. If so that is probably how they defeat Kulle in act 2 i think it was but then if someone who gets ahold of it then since kulle is immortal and can't be killed that would pose to be a problem. And since it obsorbs evil from what ur saying thats probably is why it is givin its color because black is esentially associated to be a evil color. That still makes me thing since she has some of diablos essence in her that she could be ued as a conduit for diablo to regain his form and take her body over and use her as the design for his form.
Thats great Kodachii im trying to get ppl to think and so we can have a discussion so yes thats true the worldstone is no long here so yes he could but that also leads into even though cain has tought leah why is she getting all these visions then. Like she isn't apart of the horadrium and the only ones who got visions or nightmares have been the ppl who had a prime evil in them or their essence. If it isn't leah then what is her big role other then taking over what Cain has started. In the cinematic and in the beta we see she doesn't have really that much interest in it because she has been forced into the profession by deckard even though she doesn't hate her uncle for it. I don't know much about the Black soulstone but i do know about the soulstones. Also i would love to know more about it so if u want to pm about it so u don't have to worry about spoiling it for everyone else that would be amazing.

well the thing is if u think about it ya ppl actually picture diablo as a male but the thing is has anyone really confirmed he is male he could just be asexual and not be any kind of gender at all which will allow him to use either a male or female host.

I can see the Leah arguement. However Diablo was still roaming around in the wanderer when Leah was born. Can he split himself up into two people? But when looking at Diablo it certainly would not surprise me if it was her.
technically he never split himself if u think about it when the wanderer put the soulstone in his head he was started to be taken over from that moment and before leaving tristram he was already losing the battle with diablo so when he mated with Adria diablo would have put his essence into leah for a backup plan
Lol the butcher is a classic in diablo just for the famous line "Ahhhh, Fresh Meat" He was also one of the most feared bosses in the game too even diablo didn't have as much of a intimidation factor as The Butcher did imho.
Hi i am just starting on the forum and i am just wondering on everyones opinons who will be the next diablo or will he be showing in his actual body?
My opinion it could be leah because of the lore we know that the Dark Wonderer had a kid with Adria the witch and that the timeline she was concieved Leorics son was harboring Diablo. Diablo could have thought ahead and decided to put some of his essence into Leah so when the soulstone was destroyed his essence could have went straight into her. If you think about it Leah has been having visions of the future seeing past events and other things that Leroics son was going through and been drivin insane and wih the black soulstone in her possession that would be enough for him to take over and transform Leah into the female counterpart of Diablo also making the concept art of Diablo very viable.
