2. Blizzard NEVER put PvP infront of PvE, their main focus was always PvE

So the gem prices on the asian AH going for 100k gold a piece were from a rollback dupe? Something smells fishy in here!

Huminator, do you really think Blizz won't do something about it if those were simple rollback dupes? Before accusing others of stupidity take a look at your own point.

I'm very angry at this situation myself, mates. There was duping in Diablo 2 aswell, but we had Ladder resets and what not. Without ladder resets here, things might go out of hand fast. It's sad to see how so many people try to ruin the fun for the rest of us. If this duping continues it will crash the in-game economy in no time... they won't dupe only items. You saw for yourself what happened with the gem prices.

You leave so many mobs behind... and are you sure that the gear that drops can have a chance to roll as high as other MP levels?

I upgraded my gear a little bit and now I'm able to farm MP5 like a breeze. Seems to me like WKL was a really good deal. My damage feels alright and as far as surviving goes - a little bit kiting helps a long way! Still got 30m budget left to toy around with, but for now I'm very happy with the results.

Hello to all of you sacred monks out there!

With 1.0.5 I came back to the game and was thinking of starting to main my long-forgotten monk again. The only problem I encountered is that most of the time I couldn't decide which items to go for. The people I inspected all used something different.

Today I spotted a really nice Won Khim Lau on the AH - 750dps; 860 LoH; 60 crit dmg - seemed nice until I read about the life steal/ LoH arguments. Turns out I might spend my 8m gold on something not so uselful? But with my low damage, I'm not sure when I'll be able to cap a good enough dps point at which 2.5%+ life steal will benefit me more.

Also why do some people use a Skorn? Isn't it too slow for us? I also don't cope that well with the fear from Echoing Fury (my teammates are very annoyed by it as well and it feels bad on higher MP levels 7-8).

The weapons are the biggest problem right now, but I'd love to hear some critique on my overall gear.

I've been reading the forums like crazy but it would be great to get some personal opinions from you, dear "more-experienced-than-i-am" monks!

My current budget is 50 million.

After spending a few days in the forums I can finally say with a smile on my face - Blizzard was right all this time! They said that they will never be able to satisfy everybody's Q_Q and they turned out to be right...

At first players said Diablo 3 was way too easy and there were these huge discussions about it as well.

Then when the game came out everybody (forgetting what Diablo 2 was like) started saying that the game was very short! Even though it has LOADS more content and story-telling than Diablo 2.

And now it has come to the whining of people saying that the game is TOO HARD.

I realized that no matter what, there will always be unhappy people. It's just funny how they whine in both directions (first it was too easy, now it's too hard)
What I know for certain is that all those whining kids came from a different fan base of Blizzard - from WoW mainly (and also SC). So many people forgot what Diablo was about.

Truth is - Diablo is a brilliant game, which is fuckin worthy to be the fastest selling game in history.
To everybody reading this and hating on my opinion - I wanna tell you - be patient, Blizz will implement the needed fixes to the game.

So, now if you excuse me, I'll go kill of some demons.

Coming from someone who likes to hide their age, you must be such a mature adult. Well actually what pisses me off is I actually work, and having the servers down for over 75% of the time I am able to play is quite upsetting. Ofcourse it is upsetting, but flaming the whole game just because of a laggy launch? That's plainly bashing the game without a reason. No wonder D3 has ~ 4/10 rating on metacritic(dot)com
