posted a message on Loot 2.0, discovering its true potential.
I appreciate all the work you put in to make this post. While there is some of it that I do not agree with, I truly enjoyed reading your ideas.

For me, D2 was great because you could bang out a few MF runs in a short amount of time. I can't even tell you how many times I would be up in the morning and realize I had 15 minutes before I needed to leave. That was enough time for me to do a handful of mephy/pindle runs before I needed to leave. I actually found things, useful things. I did not feel that I had wasted my time.

In D3, I would not bother to log in for only 15 minutes. By the time I reached my 5 stacks of NV and killed a few packs it would be time to go. Your idea to tie MF completely to NV, and have it stack to 50, would make it to where playing is only worthwhile if you can dedicate a couple of hours.

Being able to play here and there, whenever I could, was a big deal for D2. D3 is pulling away from that, but putting your idea in to the game would effectively end my D3 playing days.

I am fine with the paragon levels going account wide. I would love to be able to play my classes based on how I feel that day, not which one has the higher paragon level. Which is what you wanted to do with your system, but at the expense of being able to play for short amounts of time.

So again, thank you for making this thread. Thank you for your hard work, and I think most of your ideas are spot on.

posted a message on [Ongoing] Act 2 Goblin Farming Worksheet
Pardon me in advance if I come across as anything other than curious. But why chose to do goblin runs in act II over an insanely easy, and fairly quick, act I clear?

With only 31x ilvl 63 drops, and 100x ilvl 62 drops to show for 91 kills over 300 games, for a farming route with a living, breathing person at the keyboard it feels lacking. Is there any tracking for what those 131 drops were? Half of those could have been grey items if your luck is anything like mine. =/

If you do not mind me asking, what is your average time per run like?

I had actually thought to put caltrops in instead of elemental arrow. The reason I chose not to was due to my picking up fan of knives with an 18 yard range. I figured that would get the job done.

I think if I were to take elemental arrow out, I would replace it with vault since my build lacked an "oh poop" button.

posted a message on Bow Hunter Build
I decided to try my hand at a build that is based around my usual play style. The main concentration is to snare as many things as possible, and unload. (fairly simple eh?)

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#eQSVgP!bcV!YYbZZZ

My main hate generating attack is entangling shot runed with indigo. (chain gang, snared mobs are at 6 now)
Multishot runed with golden (fire at will). Just hope I do not run in to a massive pack of lightning immune mobs. =/
Elemental arrow runed for crimson. (ice arrow)
    FoK runed for crimson.
    Marked for Death with contagion.
    Cluster arrow runed with crimson.

I went with vengence to help with the hate management. I took cull the weak to improve the damage done by this build even more.
The last passive could be just about anything that would help with damage. I went with archery, but there are a few other skills that would have worked well there.

    Thoughts?
