posted a message on Nostalic people and the horror aspects of CHARMS
    Quote from ruksak

I loved charms and the way they allowed you to customize builds. As well, it was another item to get excited about when they dropped.

Though I do agree, the way they chomped away at inventory was a serious conflict of interest.

A perfect cure for this would be to limit the number of charms to only a few, as well, this would keep players from being able to buff to hard with charms.

Then they're not much more then extra equipment tho, so why not just ad 8 more ring slots or something similar, charms were never really a good solution :P

posted a message on Nostalic people and the horror aspects of CHARMS
I just had to make this post because I'm quite tierd of people complaning of the lack of some features not present in D3 compares to D2

There's one I can agree with and that's the runewords (they were great and made the socketing system alot deeper)

But what I don't understand is how people can actually miss CHARMS?
Charms were so badly made it really annoy me to bits.

So a first look at charms you may say OH HEY It'S AWSOME, FREE STATS!

But the fact that it more or less removed your whole inventory so you couldn't actually pick things up without heading to the stash to make some space after a boss kill/elite pack.

I do miss alot about D2 but I will cry if they reintroduce charms in the same manner as D2 did them.

    Quote from IAmMegatron

Yea that sucks, dying from disconnects is a bitch, but im not sure how blizz could protect us from this, if you didnt die when disconnect you could always just pull the plug when things go bad.

I guess your right, I never actually though of that. I guess alot of people would abuse it, especially when you can pause a single player game and then plug the cable :/

I still find it really annoying since I was having a blast gearing and knowing that every wrong move could be my demise, It just pains me that It wasn't my fault she died :/

posted a message on Okay, I actually died :/
I died yesterday in HC Nightmare with my level 36 Wizard.

I know there's nothing I can do about it except starting over I guess, but the thing that really got to me is that I didn't even know I died until today.

Yup I died from a random disconnect when I wasn't even close to a single champion pack/boss fight.

I've been one of the people that have been supportive of the "new age" deal of always staying online, but I have to say this made everything about it feel so bad.

I wanted to have the real death experience that I could actually get angry at myself for playing stupidly or just break my keyboard etc, this took everything about that away,

I never got to experience my character die from my own stupid mistakes.

posted a message on Problem with the achievement toast.
Okay, so my problem might seem unimportant to some people but I find that it takes alot of fun out of the game for me.

I don't know if I've earned an achievement unless I check the achievement tab, I do however get popups when friends earn their achievements.

I've tried looking through the options without any luck. I have achievement toasts checked so I should be getting the flash pop up but nothing happends. It doesn't even appear in the chat window.

If anyone have the same problem please share, and if somone knows how to fix it I'd be really happy!

posted a message on Is it just me, or is there no traps in D3
Okay perhaps I was abit vague, I'll try to explain again.
In Diablo 2 whenever you opened a chest/looked behind a rock flipped a corpse etc, you could get a sound of a switch being pressed (warning for something dangerous to happen) The chest itself could start to burn/you could get targeted by fireballs/lightning bolts/different aoe novas (posion, fire etc)

And for example, when you hit barrels they could explode for sometimes dire damage (perhaps about 30-40%) now the only thing that can pop out is some fragile skeleton.

posted a message on DRINKS, SNACKS & COOKIES you getting?
I will not go the snacks route myself.

Instead I'm going to eat a mix of healty normal homemade food and some fast food (pizzas perhaps)
I'll be making myself Taco Pie and plenty of food boxes of various beef and fish with potato/rice.
I will also have some fruits to snack on in between meals, moslty apples and tomatoes I think.

I'll be drinking only water tho since I really don't like sodas. I might star of with a beer just to celebrate the launch, but I don't want to get drunk and ruin the experience.

posted a message on Is it just me, or is there no traps in D3
It just came to me today. When I was playing the D3 beta I never got hit by a random trap (fire, explosion, frost/fire/lightning/posion nova etc) from opening chests/destroying urns etc.

Is this gone completely? I know there's still skeletons from barrels and such but they were never that really life threatening.

posted a message on Pre-Purchase Box Set, Still able to Download?
I'm just here to clean up the confusion people seem to have about the pre dowload.

    Client Unlock
Any idea as to when we will be able to "install" the retail client (digital copy) and download a patch before midnight launch?
The client will unlock when your region hits its midnight release, not before.

So there you have it, we will not be able to install it before release.

posted a message on WD Mana Regen Exceeds Wiz AP Regen?
    Quote from jaclashflash

    Quote from KageKaze

Quick update, I was wrong about the WD mana regen, it's actually 25 per second, so it's much higher than I stated.

Even if a witch doctor uses alot of their mana, they will probably not be waiting around that long, especially with regen gear.

    If you look here,
    http://www.diablofan...ills-and-runes/

Elixirmaji did a good job listen all the updated WD spells.

One thing that I notice right off the bat is that they are cheap.....Most are far cheaper than the wizard spells. The WD also has spell combinations that return mana, or have the spell cost no mana.

So I have to seriously wonder, how is this going to get balanced? The WD appears to easily be able to cast indefinitely, yet the wizard has to wave in spells that hit for shit dmg, and offer little to no utility.

If you look at the main video on the main page you can clearly see that the WD going OOM just by shooting posion dart, and when hes OOM he cannot really do anything except normal attacks.

The Wizard can ALWAYS cast spells since she got alot of sweet signature spells to throw out inbetween the AP ones.

The WD will always have more downtime nomatter what since he CAN actually go OOM. And the Wizard will ALWAYS be able to cast something since she got free spells.

posted a message on We deserve MORE in our collectors edition now!
I don't really understand why people feel like they've been entitled to the game for months.

There have not been a single release date announcement yet, and that equals to no missed dates and no pushbacks.
Just let them finish the game and enjoy it when it's done. All this whining is really giving me a headache.

I also don't understand how people can be unhappy with Blizzard at all. The game will be done when it's done, stop obsessing.

Sorry for poor English in advance.

Sorry for asking but where does this idéa of a Unicorn level come from?

I know that there will probably be some bonus level like D2 Cow level (probably something different aswell) but I don't understand why it have to be Unicorns ^^

As I've said If I've missed something a blue has been hinting on I'm sorry!
