I could use a Guest Pass for my girlfriend-- I left all my passes on the floor of my apartment in a different state and would be glad to give them away when I get home next week.
I guess you could call this an epic win: My graphics card upgrade from newegg came in today. I was afraid I'd have issues, but it's working fantastic. Upgraded from Geforce 8800 GTX to Geforce GTX 580.
Hello, everyone else seems to have plans for marathon playthroughs, which is awesome for those who can -- but I work early tomorrow, so I want to be realistic. So I'm hoping to find a nice group of adventurers out there who would like to enjoy the game when it launches, but who also have responsibilities and cannot realistically play for 24 hrs straight. Anyone want to start playing at midnight, but only through Act 1? I'd say I'm willing to put in 3 hours beginning at launch. And I'd be glad to continue tomorrow evening after I'm off work. I'm playing a Wizard, softcore. Send a message if you want to group up.
Hi everyone. I noticed that my login button does not light up, and has no click animation when I try to click it. I do not have Beta access, but downloaded the client in anticipation of this open beta weekend. I just wanted to see if this is normal. I recall when I first downloaded the beta client, I could actually click login with my battle.net info, and it would give me the error stating I do not have a beta key. Now it won't even do that much. A little help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Are you entering your battle.net email address in the login name, or your battletag ID? It needs to be your email address.
Touche. I will haev to try again with my email address when I get home... but, that aside, the button only becomes "clickable" when you have your email address entered?

Running with two monitors and having it go across both would not be ideal at all. You would have the monitor bezel right across the center of your screen which is where all the action takes place. You wouldn't see any of it. Having two monitors is still nice. You can still play on one screen and then have whatever else you want on the other. Like, messaging programs, VoIP clients, a web browser and whatever else you want. You can look at them without having to alt-tab.
That's hilarious about the maneuverability on eyefinity. I think I'll ultimately end up going with two monitors, one for the game, one for anything else I need to do outside of the game. I think when I originally got the idea of playing on dual-monitors, I imagined it being like my work set up, where my main screen is in front of me, but I have the extended desktop on the second monitor. I had envisioned having my character centered in monitor 1, and an extended view going right. It seemed awesome in my head, but I now know it's not the case. So single monitor it is...
Although I am saving up for an IPS monitor. Does anyone know if IPS makes any difference in the appearance of this game?
I see. Well, that still looks pretty neat. Hopefully they do end up providing support for higher resolutions. Either way, I'd be happy using one 1920x1200 for D3, and a second for something else. Thanks for the info Enty!
