    I think the sets' bonus applies only to damage you deal and not your fetishes. Needs testing on the PTR thought, I haven't been able to hop on yet.

    I'd like more legendaries too. Encountering more of the same item yet zero of other is completely normal for two reasons, Blizzard might have made some legendaries less likely to drop (I don't know if they did) and/or un-even distribution of random events - which says that when getting set of random events it is more likely to get the results unevenly distributed and "smoothens" only over a very large data sample. So getting 3 mempos and 0 of random item is completely normal. I personally haven't seen mempo yet.

    Yeah I'd like the progression through torments to be more noticeable/rewarding too. Next patch should help a bit by making T1+ bounties more rewarding and scalable with difficulty.

    The secret is, you should have fun playing the game. I do have fun playing the rifts/bounties/etc and if a good item drops, its a plus, if it doesnt I still had good time. Don't overplay the game just for loot, you will get frustrated. There are hardcore players who grind 24/7, but you obviously are not, so take my advice.

    If you don't enjoy actually playing the game and the loot is the only reward for you, then I feel bad for your RNG.

    Didnt know you cant roll crit damage, that explains why I haven't seen it rolled on weapons besides some legendary weapons. If damage is stat you care most about and AS gives the biggest boost then you made the right choice I guess. % weapon damage does not boost it up as much, because on non-black weapons only the BASE damage is boosted, not the lightning damage. It's a known bug and I hope they will fix it soon.

    After it gets fixed %damage might suprass the attack speed.

    Rerolling to main stat is good, because you can reroll to fit any class as Conrad577 pointed out. BUT the material costs will be heavy, remember it uses up one soul for each reroll.

    I've heard the proc is amazing, didnt have the luck to try it out myself thou.

    I did actually have this shield, but I rolled a low Block Chance, switching to my shield with 25% base block and 11% extra chance had a big effect on my DPS. I also found that the shields only hit each mob ONE time, so the effect is wasted on an elite pack typically.
    Yeah you are right, its wasted on elite packs more or less (though there is an affix where you have 10 elite mobs :) ), but on trash packs its amazing. Hard to give up such high block chance althought Jekangbord can roll high block chance as well...

    Shield's block chance and skills work very inconsistently. For example the passive that increases your amror by your shield's block chance does not take into account the other passive that increases your block chance (hold your ground I believe), but takes into account +block from any item but doesnt take any +block chance produced from skills (punish etc.)

    Some skills however work differently. I believe shield bash takes into account any block chance increasing sources.

    This needs some testing and what I wrote is not tested and probably wrong. I don't have the mood to test it myself, so if anyone has done it or has other source where it has already been done, feel free to post the link.

    Best way to avoid the damage dealt to you is to avoid the source. If you move out immediately, the damage is still high but its managable imho. Only other option is to improve your mitigation and life regen as has been said.

    If the damage from those sources is too high is a matter of opinion and discussion. The fact that those cant be blocked is a big impact on crusader, on the other hand if it could be blocked, the source could be almost trivialized.

    Also remember that single element resist is a secondary affix and rolls much higher then all resist afix, thus improving your mitigation against these sources and not blocking your damage improving stats. I know you cant roll all res when single res is present, but still it might be more effective than stacking only all res (also you can "catch up" with your all resist with sockets).

    One last thing, does X% reduced damage from elites affect pools, desecration etc? If yes, its another effective way, as it is %based and provides good source of mitigation when you hit a spot with armor and all res. where stacking more becomes less and less effective.

    Blackthorns set is awesome for higher torments BUT completing the whole set and giving up on other more appealing sets (Akkhan is awesome) is a big tradeoff.

    Sleet Storm is a channeled spell, so it should be affected by AS the same way other channeled spells are. That means the frequency of ticks is higher, but the increase is not continuous but rather step-like, the frequency is increased in breakpoints.

    For exact formulas, you can find them around the web. Also, I did not try this particular spell, but there is no reason why it should work a different way (but things like this still happen).

    Did the extra damage from shield block value scale with strength and other bonuses before? If not then its a buff.... Also I believe it will consider +% block chance affixes, at least I hope so, which would make the skills for block heavy oriented crusaders, which is fine...

    Are you sure bonus XP% does not multiply any bonuses from difficulty? I believe they changed it on live servers so the hellfire ring and other bonuses keep their relative effectivness across all difficulties (e.g.: 25% increase in XP gains no matter the difficulty).

    Which makes sense, because it would get useless to even consider XP gear on torment, say level 3 and higher. Have you tested it on beta?

    Also Paragon levels will not be as important as it used to be (because of MF removal), so using multiple legendaries to double your paragon leveling would be fine and even fun IMHO. It gives us choice and even more gearing diversity (Do I want to farm legendaries, Death's Breath or farm XP? Or just something fun? -> different sets of items).

    The bounty rewards have been nerfed, so streamers are now running only rifts. But take into account that key drop rate is ridiculous on beta (which has been confirmed by blue). If they balance, and im sure they will, it so that bounties would be a needed in order to enter rifts then it'd be completely ok, even if bounties yielded a bit less rewards. It's kinda like Ubers work on live but more awesome. Also having a chance for a key dropped from random mob is cool as long as the chance is really low, because it creates another random hurray effect when you see it dropped randomly and also Diablo is all about randomness.

    Now Cursed Chests. We don't have much information about it which is gonna change Soon (tm). What I'd guess and hope for is randomly scattered chests throughout the adventure mode (kinda like resplendent chests) but with a twist (or a curse if you wish so). And here is plenty of room to get creative. Anything that has been related to Nephalem Trials is cool (timed runs, more you kill, more you get etc.) but there could be more, like spawning a portal to a nephalem rift, or spawning goblins or a buff which guarantees a legendary drop if you kill an elite pack within X minutes or raining a ridiculous amount of gold pieces or teleporting you to a boss fight or changing your class (suddenly wizard!) for the rest of the game session, even having chance at negative effects too (instant death perhaps - not on HC thou, or damage debuff for X minutes or many many more). There'd be so much room for creativity.
