Okay so I've been patrolling youtube videos, forums, and the game itself and a common theme is that people like to say that Diablo 3 is a very disappointing game and that the expectations it had were undeserved and all that usual nonsense.
What?
Diablo 3 is a very good game. First off, the gameplay is extremely well done. Just because it takes aspects of WoW, which is arguably the greatest multiplayer game ever made (coming from a guy who does not like WoW), does not make it a bad game. Just because the map is in the corner and not covering the whole fucking screen does not make it bad. The enemies are very enjoyable and the skills you have are also extremely fun and awesome. Like I finally decided to get a Wizard to Inferno and I realized how much freedom I had compared to all the other Diablo games.
I think that over the course of twelve years of waiting for this game, hardcore fans (don't worry I did this too) made their own Diablo 3 in their head and were very sad to not see their own ideas in the game. I think the story was extremely awesome. Yes I agree that Diablo's taunts were a bit cheesy and Magdha could have been a bit better done, but seriously, who cares? Maghda was a very interesting character and gave Belial a better name. I honestly just wished we could have faught against Imperius -___-
The music is also very good in the game.
The gameplay is very solid, the lore is awesome, and questing/multiplayer is very cool. I don't know why people hate on it so much, but like the old saying goes, haters gonna hate.
Diablo 3 = 9/10

We'll never know. Look at what Blizzard has done to D2, WC3, WoW (in between xpacks, of course), and even SC2. The fact is, they've compulsive tinkerers. It was done on release, it'll be more done by the end of the year, and unless Blizzard stops being Blizzard, it'll be done and re-done over the next decade.
That's the only thing keeping me going, farming with some idea that things will get way better. The game plays great. The items fail to impress in any shadow of resemblance to what they had to work with off of D2.
I said it before, I'll say it again and again until it is either fixed or I quit. .......
Add D2's itemization to D3's gameplay and we have the starting point for the best ARPG ever made.
Shameful. -

Nivius posted a message on This must go out to the world ... my sympathies to the poor fellarubber banding comes for 1 single reason...Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
"oh you want very responsive combat? well we can solve that, so that fallens don't die 0.2 sec after you hit them like in D2"
*implements a revolutionary system that keeps the game responsive like playing singleplayer...*
people start whining the second your internet lags, THATS the reason of rubberbanding. you client is doing as it should, but the latency (ping/ms whatever) comes back whit "no dude, you did not go that far on our records. go back abit"
it works really well most of the time. and if you get a propper, stable internet connection the rubberbanding is not happening. (like for me, i have 100mbit at home) IF its not some other problem that makes the internet lag, like a connection error and the rerouting aren't fast enough
sry to say it guys, but rubberbanding is the price to pay for the responsive combat system. and imo, id rather have the rubberbanding then unresponsive combat system that killed allot of people in D2 also.
as a game developer myself all i can say:
if you put 10$ in a bag and give it to someone for free... there will ALWAYS be some punk that whines and asks why it wasn't 20$. thats how it often work.
you don't think about all the POSITIVE effects a solution made, but more about whatever new problem that came up. -

Remember way back when? jay wilson said you wouldnt just go through an act and have it be the same thing the whole way through like diablo 2? ( act 2 all sand, act 3 all jungle, and temple type dungeons)
but now what happend? theres like 2 tarrain types, look at act 3, theres the outside on the castle top with snow, and inside dungeon type tarrain, nothing else, a bit uncreative.
Is anyone else with me? or do you like watching the same terrain move by for 30 minutes?
10 years and thats all they did? seriously now.
Are you complaining for the sake of complaining? -

sickleSC posted a message on Really upset with Blizzard.Hahaha, so your 2 main critisisms are the repair cost is too high and that there is a gold dupe? OK bro.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
1. Right now the repair cost is pretty much fuckin nothing, the repair cost is not felt at all, which makes death in softcore have no penatly. Do you think thats fair and balanced? No. If that penny to repair is too much for u, learn to play.
2. Please provide the evidence of the gold dupe. There has been a lot of fucin rumours about it, but thats it. No confirmation. Even Blizz said that there has been no solid proof that such a gold dupe existed.
Lastly, you spent what 2-3 weeks playing this 'shitty' game and you want your money back? You fuckin bought 2-3 weeks of content and you're crying? FUckin show me a better modern game that u can buy and play for more than 2-3 weeks. Most fuckin games nowadays are clocked in under a day, which cost the same fkn amount as DIablo. While Diablo is only gonna get patched and improved for time.

You're the one bitching about repair costs and inferno difficulty in the same post and I'm the one that doesn't have a clue? Hint: They're raising one and nerfing the other... what exactly is there to bitch about?Quote from ChaosCode
Quote from Kooqu
Quote from ChaosCodeHere's a pro tip Blizzard. How about you fix your ****ing game and maybe we won't die so much? I do not care how much resist or DR you have in inferno. There are some elites or rares you can not beat.
Here's a pro-tip: Read the fucking article that you're bitching about. They're nerfing inferno in the same patch that they're raising repair costs.
Also, they banned the gold dupers.
You might want to get a clue before you post again.
Yes, these are the straws I am referring to. I am glade there is one person left with hope. As for a clue. I seriously doubt you are in any position to know someone that "has a clue" from someone that doesn't. Enjoy.
Wait, I get it... no reading comprehension!
Here, let me make it easier for you to understand:
Blizzard: We don't like zerging, so we're raising repair costs. But we're also making inferno easier, so you won't die as much!
You: What? You're raising repair costs!? But I die so much in inferno!
Blizzard: ...
Ok, now read all of those. Read them again if you don't understand the point. Still not getting it? Then keep Diablo uninstalled, because we don't want to read your bullshit. -

Cookiee posted a message on Vengeance vs. Sharpshooter inferno questionI wonder why people feel that the only choice for people in inferno as dh is glass cannon. It's one of the most painful and horrible styles to play. It's a good starter build to farm gold, to buy yourself actual gear that won't make you die to every fart on the screen, but it most certainly is not the only build.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
As for your question.
You pretty much want Dex/Crit Hit DMG/Attack Speed on all gear where these are possible. There is no real precedence. Attack speed will make your dps look really high, but it will be utterly useless to you when you need to kite. Crit hit will make you feel like god when you crit, but hit like a wet noodle when you don't. Dex is probably your most reliable stat, since it actually complements your build the most as a glass cannon. At 2000 dex you have about 40% chance to dodge, those 1 shots. More to the point, Attack speed is also really good if you know how to use it. This mainly compliments bows, rather than crossbows, mainly due to the fact if you hit a mob it gets knocked back and doesn't attack you. You can have a mob literally in melee range and not be able to hit you while you are shooting it. This obviously doesn't work on packs.
Crit Chance with SS seems kind of moot. If you are glass cannon you won't be living very long, and you want to rape the mobs as fast as possible. Your first few shots should bring elites down to 75% or less.
On a side note enjoy the spear throwers :P.
If you ever got the point where your gear is good enough, you will actually love to see Spear Thrower elite packs, because they do no damage and have no life.
Thank you for the great idea to pick up Vengeance. I will be replacing Steady Aim with it, since I tank most mobs in inferno on my DH. Vengeance + Gloom tank = Win -

you sir suck!
i got my refund also back. 60€ for this shit wasnt worth. and yeah i played ~100h, was end act 3 inferno and sold my items and gold for 90€. so what now fanboys?
I proudly call myself a fan, so thanks for that. This game is better of without you, so now you can go play whatever game you like, and we get to play D3 without you dragging us all down.
This game is a good step forward for ARPGs and the best out so far, and from here it will just get better. If you don't agree, InfidelMan and Klusterboy will show you the way to the door. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
