posted a message on [Official] Release Date Speculation Thread
Any time after May 24th, I decided that blizzard would likely take longer then expected so I took a heavy classload... then my next semester will be super light easy classes so I can maximize my D3 time! Since I did this though likely February. But probably March.

Is it sad I watched this for a very long time because I wanted to see how big the Nyan cats would get? They eventually took over my screen with all their flashy colours until I had a seizure.
Probably. I did the same thing yesterday... twice.

Don't you get it!? THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT! ANARCHY AHHHH!!!!

    Blizzards evil plan:
Step 1. Announce super amazing game
Step 2. Never release game but tease for years
Step 3. Wait while everyone kills each other
Step 4. TAKE OVER THE WORLD + THE INTERNETS.

But really, complainings the only thing to do with diablo now a days, a huge chunk of the game is out in the open dangling out there in front of peoples faces. And complaining about complainers. Then complaining about people complaining about complainers.

Lets face it, no ones happy about all the delays - some people are just a little moreso then others. At least this forums better then the official forums... I recommend if you see people complain just ignore them. I do, until now, but i'm more just bored not really complaining.

In conclusion, inside we are all a little frustrated at the development time and lack of date, feeding the fire on either end does us no good.

Me too, but im too lazy to use analytic software or do much reading online, just using basic logic reading the skill descriptions was enough to get me top 3 for WoW raiding DPS back in the day. Forcing us to potentially go online for basic casual information would be lame... But again, we shall see.

Still pretty concerned about the tooltips, but I trust blizzard will do a well enough job with them. They seem pretty simple from what I've seen now, cost and damage is really all you need. If you want to know how it works exactly you can just play with it and learn - the words are filler. Not sure how they plan on simplifying it more then that! Hopefully its not Bash - Hits things really hard! Cleave - Hits things in front of you pretty hard!, Leap Attack - Jump to a spot and hit stuff hard!, etc. We shall see...

For example, a lot of those westbro, kkk things as you mentioned are confined to an area, usually not directly next to a funeral but across the street. Otherwise shit would go down for sure... they usually have cops there to supervise as well for those extreme groups.

Those are normally protests or groupings etc, not just a couple of normal-clothed individuals hanging out talking to each other. Again, MASSIVE difference.

Err, yeah that's what I meant, they actually get approval to be there as a group and are allocated an area to "voice their opinion", and they can't really be denied as they do it through proper channels and make sure to follow the law. Obviously they know the laws on this VERY well, as their message is extremely offensive to most people. To be honest I have no idea how they aren't attacked nonstop...

And you're right, you should give a shit about free speech :)

    Monk last.

I like to have a melee main and ranged alt in any game I play, and my melee will definitely be a barb. Still haven't decided on a ranged... depends on what my friends end up playing I guess.

People are allowed to say whatever horrible shit they want under the law. Ask the Westboro Baptist Church or the KKK members at public rallies.

That was probably a school rule that they broke.
Don't misinterpret free speech - it's not a justification to say whatever you want wherever you want, it's a right to protect your ability to have a voice. This primarily relates to protests, you have the right to do so within the law. Also this is in a school, you can't just run around swearing, by attending the school you accept the rules of the school system and have to abide by them. A lot of schools make you read and acknowledge the school rules before you even attend. The one at my school was just a book they handed out to everyone. And if you got a detention you had to write it all out... took like 5 pages front and back.

You also can't disturb the peace of course, or verbal assault, like the well known phrase "you cant yell bomb on an airplane" or threaten to kill someone.

If you wanted to say nigger in public you would have to get it approved by the city, because its an offensive term and would be construed as disturbing the peace if you just walked around yelling it. By law they would allocate a zone for you to be able to say it, most city's have designated free speech areas. A lot of colleges do as well. Thats how you do it. The city can't really say no, unless its not a safe situation or some other reasons, cant remember them all.

For example, a lot of those westbro, kkk things as you mentioned are confined to an area, usually not directly next to a funeral but across the street. Otherwise shit would go down for sure... they usually have cops there to supervise as well for those extreme groups.

Most people don't understand how these things work, which is understandable - the shitty high school I went to never covered it. They should... We need better education! Our education system is awful... but thats a whole different debate.

anyways, that doesnt really offend me so i dont care, but it is a weird chant 0_o

edit: actually this is one of the reasons I hate most protestors. they do things illegally such as the US davis protest recently, breaking multiple laws, then complain about not having free speech. Pretty crappy college students if you ask me, break laws that they wave around to try to justify themselves? You cant disregard the law and then expect it to protect you when you don't even understand it. My guess is they went into it knowing they were going to get in trouble, they wanted the media attention for their cause.

That would be even better, I'm assuming most people will be switching between them a lot to decide what they like best or based on what they are doing. That prevents from having to grind them up if you don't play them for awhile.

I haven't been able to find anything on this, but will you be able to level up your followers and they will retain their experience? So you can switch between them whenever and they will be the same level as when you last played them?

I'm guessing yes, since that seems to be the way they are going with a lot of things in the game...
