We can't datamine whats not there to datamine, changes like that dont show up in files. so there is nothing to datamine for it to see if it changed :3

You can see number changes to class skills but if they made a number change to rare ID timer you wouldn't see it in a datamine? I don't understand.

darn....was really hoping for something involving rare IDing
we would have to wait for patchnotes for something like that

Aren't patch notes notorious for leaving out some changes? I thought datamining uncovered more than what Blizzard reveals...with the only caveat that before it goes live we have to assume it's not 100% going to happen until it's actually patched live.

Really nothing for me to come back to. Why did they remove a pet which ran around and picked up gold.

DH still have ferrets but if those didn't get a pick up gold bonus either they are worthless (they currently spend more time sniffing gold than grabbing it).

They should have put in the tech to increase gold radius but not globe radius. Hopefully the minor increase eliminates walking over a portion of the gold stack and it not grabbing, but if it doesn't and they can't increase it more due to unintentional melee globe pickups, they really need to implement that separation. Right now the only build I can think of that purposely wants to pick up globes from ranges longer than 0 is the WD build that utilizes the passive that buffs you for grabbing globes.

Already have to reroll because I dumped to many points into health/armor.

You don't have to do that. That game is completely moddable and it's extremely easy to re-allocate your stat points.

Very pleased with the duelling system, was expecting Borderlands style open world small scale 1v1, 4 player will keep me occupied, although no word on allegiance yet, would like the option to make the 1v1v1v1 into 2v2 or even 1v3.. Time will tell. I will be farming the new crafted account bound gear pieces but hypocrisy aside, I'm disappointed that they're in there, or rather that they're going to roll above stat-cap. Legendaries were crap originally because the design ethic was to keep players from gearing exactly alike with fixed BiS lists. The legendary changes narrowed the field hugely as they expected, 2H that isn't Skorn = Worthless, for example. Seems this design principle may have been completely discarded now.

    BiS lists are already fixed.

Considering that many specs gear differently so that's still a lot of lists but there is no such thing as an RPG (that has gearing) that doesn't have BiS lists.

I don't understand why it takes weeks or months to finish such a small patch.

Most of the team is working on an expansion. You know, something that will actually earn them money.

Let's also not forget all that manpower wasted on deathmatch before they canned it.

Because getting more people to play now doesn't earn them a dime on the RMAH? Also the expansion won't make them that much money if the state of D3 is only at this level. They lost the trust of millions and need to earn it before they push out any new software. D3 sold crazy on the back of D2's solid rep. D3:The Second Failure will sell like trash on the trash rep of D3 unless Blizzard can repair it before they release the xpac.

Still need to figure out how they will fix the potential 1-shots.

I mean... even with 90% damage mitigation, 250K average spell hit will still do 25K damage.

I'm guessing health will get buffed by X% while in a dueling zone.

Damn I was really hoping the obnoxious ID spam was going to be eliminated under QoL improvements. We need either an ID all or remove it entirely. It's not an enjoyable time sink when you're spamming ID on extremely common drops. They are fine on Legendaries/Sets.

(The resurrection timer in Hardcore remains unchanged. :D)

    Very funny :P

    LOL, no.

Garbage in, garbage out. The community was diverse and enjoyable when the game first came out but shortly after everyone discovered what D3 ended up being, those with sense left and all you had left were rabid fanboys furious that people didn't think this was another great entry in the Diablo franchise.

It is quite interesting that you post in the very site that includes your self in this "fanboy" tag you have placed over every one else that see some enjoy ment out d3. Sure is is not as amazing as the 10+ years of waiting and hype building up to it, but it dose have promise and it still is fun non the less. so while i register here and make my first post here just to call you out as a hypocrite, i now say your opinion has been nullified.

I'm a fan of the other Diablo games and thus follow the fansites because it's not impossible to fix a game. Right now the community is garbage because the game is garbage. Obviously posting on a fansite doesn't make you a fanboy because your voice has to be heard somehow. But I certainly stopped playing the game long ago.

If the franchise didn't have such a huge following prior to this game all the fansites for it wouldn't even be running and it would just die lonely in the bargain bins. The majority of the people who stopped playing WANT it to succeed (if for nothing else than to get their money's worth), but that doesn't mean they still play and thus all you have left are people with low standards. The logic is simple and it's easy to understand why the community in-game is so bad.

Something should ring a bell to you D3 white knights when the best selling PC game of all time (D3) makes nearly none of the high-profile gaming sites top games of 2012 list.

How well they are made, yes. But not how complete. Act 4 is not a complete act. Crafting is definitely underdeveloped and not complete. Leaving out an entire feature, PvP. Not complete.

Crafting was fine before the legendary revamp, it needs work now.

It was a complete game at launch and it's only going to go up with time

Interesting. Going up with time yet you clearly mention a case where a feature got WORSE since release.
