instead of trying to re-balance and retweak everything i suggest an even simpler metod to "balance" PVP.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Have all stats on gear be a fixed value in PVP. so that you are only looking for the stat on the gear and not the value of the stat meaning the crapiest gear with the correct stats are exactly the same values as the best rolled gear in the game.
so for example, a ring with 967 stamina will be 500 in pvp and a ring with 223 stamina will also have 500 stamina in pvp (assuming the rings av the same Ilvl ofc)
now by doing this blizzard can easly tweak the number of each stats individually. say crit is to dominant then they can turn it down from 5% to 4%. or if no one is using pickup radius they can boost it from 1.2 to 1.5 per ger slot.
now the skills can be the same in PVE and PVP.
the hunt for pvp gear will just be the correct affixes and not stats on a high iLvl item. making so that its less luck based and more skill based.

i think both are/where just to clumsy especiialy the current one, something i would like to see is a system more like what the followers have.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
basicly 6 boxes + a row for passives.
for each skill one large box with 6 smaller ones under
click the big one to select spell, click the small ones to select rune.

just had an idea from that, give us the "talisman" back, have 3-5 sockets in a interface in the inventory, that you can put a bunch of different Runes in, that will activate. On the banner drop. sure it might just become a big bad voodoo for everyone but it could be fun and a great way to SHOW of the achievement upgrade able banners!

The legendary's are probably enough. they could just add in a few new every few months for us to play around with.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Something along the same line that i would like them to implement a kind of legendary Skill gem, that you put in a skill/rune to enchant its powers even more. with new effect and trigger. Now this Gem should be SUPER rare possibly a drop (max 10% chance) of a new type of pandemonium event / Uber bosses.
Socket a skill/rune is permanent or requiring a ton of resources, possibly some other slightly more common item/s from pandemonium event / Uber bosses.
Now this is a "proper-collect-em-all" end game. that can open up a lot more skill diversity (if done right).

Looking at all the category's, you would want at least 800 (50x16) paragon levels, (max out all non-core stats). that is going to be pretty thought, and after that one can just dump into a core stat of your choice. the rest off all points up to infinity.Posted in: News & Announcements

From my understanding both campaign and adventure are unlocked on a new character.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
and that both modes scales with your current level.
so for example you play to lvl 15 in campaign mode and kill the butcher.
then hop on and do adventure mode for for 20 levels.
and go back to campaign you will still be right after the butcher but all enemies will be lvl 35 instead of lvl 15 ish.
So this basically means that everything is endgame content at any character level. No need for normal mode or hell mode as the mode will scale by itself up to that level.
now how inferno mode comes into play i dont know but could be a normal, and inferno campaign and a normal and inferno adventure mode. (now normal scales depending on level over the current difficulty normal to hell).
at least this is my understanding of the systems.

My hopes is that the only thing ladder will be displayed is total paragon level and perhaps total elite or boss kills at a certain Difficulty level.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
But that they will add in Seasonal ladders that will have your own old character but you just chase a goal for some month(s) for example. kill goblins, bosses, paragon experience, gold collected of the ground, legendary picked up, level 1-cap in least time solo. ect
or i can do with full reset but i don't wanna play thought the game 2-4(Norm,NM,Hell) times just to get to the level cap just to get to the content for the challenge or ladder. seems pointless to play trought the game 2-4 times before i can start playing. if i however get a max level character with some basic gear to start grinding the content from.
But im guessing a more casual approach with the ladder and seasonal system in RoS. with prices for top% (1%, 2.5%, 5%, 10%, 25%, 50% perhaps.and different kinds of challenges running from 1 week to 2 months.
9/24/2013 8:05:44 AM
as we get another class, with RoS i think and hope we will get atleast 2 more character slots (12 total one for each class male/female and hardcore/softcore) im hoping for way more for potential ladder and seasonal stuff. 20 slots total would be great.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
as to deleting a paragon 100 char to level another to then reactivate it when we get more character slots. Tought one.
as some one said character recovery is not infinite. and it might not work over a major patch like 2.0 will be.
on the other hand if you already have 10 p100 chars. playing them will not do any progress for you. and you have atleast 6 months before the expantion will be out. and that's plenty of time to level if it does not work out.
so you will probably have have 10 p100 chars again and a potential 11th so basically nothing to loose but some time spent. that you would probably have spent on the game anyway.
