Well its true that the exact meaning of couple is 2, but more often then not a couple in time measurement is more often not 2 then 2. its about in what environment/area you have grown up some some say a couple for the measurement of 2-5 and some say a few. in the case of josh it was probably more natural for him to say a couple, instead of a Few or Soon™Quote from Mienta
You seem confused about what 'coupple' means - > it means 2 of an item. In this case weeks.Quote from undefined » -

He said a couple of weeks and not 2 weeks , so there is an uncertainty factor.Quote from leroy989
http://i.imgur.com/RBsXBnf.jpg from this I would say March 4th is a safe bet if not tomorrow that is.
How ever something more interesting is the new blog post about The RoS "pre-oreder" loothttp://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/13032539/reaper-of-souls%E2%84%A2-pre-order-loot-revealed-2-24-2014
witch states that the in game items (wings of valor) will be geven out the 20th march
The Wings of Valorwill be automatically sent to your existing and any newly created Diablo III characters via an in-game notification starting March 20, 2014.

Jan 15, 2014Vomica posted a message on New Beta Patch - Class Changes, Difficulty Changes, New Gear Graphicsseems like massive damage over time nerfs for witch doctor. probably due to the creeping death passive. Anyway super happy that spirit barrage got buffed by around 30%+ with the added cold damage. On to the crusader i think that 30 sec CD is a bit to much for shield bearers. 15-20 would probably have been enough. seems like its more of a support skill then a damage skill now also. and the added resistance from gems was kinda odd, but i guess crusaders had to much "base" toughness anyway.Posted in: News

Nov 20, 2013Vomica posted a message on Paragon EXP Chart: Levels 1 - 2000, Diablofans Livestream of Reaper of SoulsLooking at all the category's, you would want at least 800 (50x16) paragon levels, (max out all non-core stats). that is going to be pretty thought, and after that one can just dump into a core stat of your choice. the rest off all points up to infinity.Posted in: News

Aug 20, 2012Vomica posted a message on Paragon Level EXP Chartlets do some calculations.Posted in: News
it takes 10,000,000,000 exp to get to lvl 100.
if you can farm 5,000,000 exp an hour (can probably get more)
it would take you 1*10^10 / 5*10^6 = 2000 hours to get to level 100, now lets say we farm for 6 hours a day that would be
2000/6 = 333 days
so about a year of farming for 6 hours a day every day at a exp rate of 5 mil per hour would get you to 100 paragon level.
this my friends is way slower then diablo 2
and it would probably take about 4 years for a casual player to reach the max level.
so keep onto your MF farming set -
Aug 20, 2012Vomica posted a message on Paragon Level EXP Charta question molster. is it any more of that list you linked and why is there such a gap between 50 and 51, it does not follow any logical algorithm.Posted in: News
unless its fairly low exp up to lvl 50 to get every one started and not feeling the pain to get another character up high. and after 50 the real workout begins. -
Aug 20, 2012Vomica posted a message on Paragon Level EXP Chartseems like we will have to kill dust imps forever to reach 100!Posted in: News
so far i have killed 140k monsters total on this account, and i have about 300 hours played, and about 33% of the kills would have been in normal and nightmare and early hell.
looking at the top kills player at http://www.diabloprogress.com/rating.stat_lifetime_kills the top one has 5,754,066 and most of this kill is probably in act 3 hell. and this bot (should be a bot) has been at it from the game release 90 days ago.
calculating it 5,7 mil/ 90 days / 24 hours / 60 min will be 43 kills a minute 24/7! -

my guess is that only a select few build will run something other then CHD and CC i want to be proven wrong.
The whole new empasise on Elemental damage and cooldown reduction is something i want to be competitive.

Getting that legendary so that i can switch up my Build again for the N:th time
More achievements to hunt to keep me going for a long while longer.
level more characters trying out different skills at different levels, just having fun
Collecting all Transmogs, patterns, ect.

1 to 59 actually. So, we won't be able to exploit it.
Quoute system seems broken
It can still be exploited to some degree to farm out a set bonus or a specific Legendary effect you really need. sure a lvl 59 item vs a 70 item is not good, But Getting that effect that makes everything in a setup work. i could live with one piece being sub-par.

As for items, and gems i have only saved what i currently have had, no point in upgrading or spending gold/money on gems and items.
as for plans if your into that sort of collecting it could be a vise idea to buy everything you feel is worth it, (you can probably get all yellow patterns pretty cheep)
there are mixed answers on patterns in RoS ATM some say that no duplicates will be dropped after you have found one, great if you have almost everything as you will have a higher chance to get the "rare" patterns.
But the general thumb rule is to save as much gold as possible, as almost everything but gold from Vanilla will be useless after a few days played.

as for gems everything under marquise is free trade. but its kinda pointless to trade or even pick up lower tier gems unless its your first character.
Pretty much the only trade able commodity in RoS will be Dyes (that are easy to farm/spawn anyway).
well blizzard have pretty much succeeded in shutting down most 3rd party transaction / advantages.
it is still possible to "transfer" gold at a very bad ratio by buying items of vendors dropping em and letting another player sell em. but i don't think its worth it for gold sellers or any one to do this.
1
that 2Hs is for abilitys with cooldown or massive resource costs (to deal more damage where it matters)
and 1HS for spammy stuff like generators and low cost abilitys.
But ATM there is almost no difference between the 2 in fact 1Hs are way better as you often gain resources faster for your big spenders, to actually matter.

i tough it was balanced before when it was a primary so you had to sacrifice to be able to use it at a lower level.
i am fine however with RLR is a secondary but make it enchant only on lvl 61+ items.
this will prevent vanilla players from getting 61+ equipment's that they should not have access to, and lessen the need for some 3rd party site selling em for a profit, as they might be the best for a lvl 60 character. but then its back to the why spend money on gear and not the expansion it self.
0
I say a better option is to just have all sub 61 items go up to lvl 60 affixes only, And bring back the cost of forgotten souls for all lvl 55+ legendaries.
but my biggest hope with the change is hopefully to balance CHD. it ain't even a fun stat but its extremly mandotory.

Lets start of with the bad one, in this example dungeon keeper and any other "facebook" game, aka games that has a limited resource that lets you play for a limited time or wait for ages to get it back. Or pay a "small" fee of 1-50 dollars to let you play for half an hour extra instead of waiting 4 hours to be able to do the same thing. There are a ton of these games and some does it better then others. but 99% of them should be deleted and forgotten about completely.
The Semi-Good F2P model is the one that lets you play for an unlimited time in a go and gain everything in the game by just playing it, perhaps at a reduced rate of what a normal full pay game would have. A great example of this Punch Quest (http://www.punchquest.com/ ) an extremly solid game with lots of fun play elements. sure in essence its just a clone of the endless runner genre but it has solid gameplay. now in this game you can unlock everythign by just playing or unlock stuff by buying credits for real money.
now there are worse and better examples of this type of F2P model. for example Angry Birds GO!, you can unlock most things by just playing for free but to get the best car to be able to compete online you will have to buy the extremly expensive IAP Car only avalible from IAP. and this is very bad model IMO.
Anyway avoid the Energy based or two currency game like the plauge they are never worth it.

anyway back to the topic.
due to the setup of the skill system and paragon system (if it is respeccable without cost)
one only needs 6 and that leaves 6-9 mules, where you can put gear if you want for other builds for your main characters.sure if you wanna do the same thing on HC also you get 0-3 mules to put stuff in.
Sure it has not as good mule capacity as Diablo 2 or 1 it is good enought for diablo 3. i would just like to seesome betterinterface for gems, dyes and materials that does not take up a stash slot.
0
and easy to overlook special Gems tab (mostly so that i can pick up every gem i see and not skip some as they are not worth the stash space(most still will be but its fun to see gem progression)
2-3 shared stashes for general gear. as they are now
and perhaps 1 personal tab for leveling and class / spec specific items. and in this tab a preview mode for all other characters (but you would have to log on and swap stash from personal to general). This type of stash in something that is not generally needed just a nice addition.

rather this then having the top 1% 60 items be extremly viable or even BiS (somebuilds) at 70. it is a sad day however.
0
with everything centred around 2(3stats) CC and CHD (main stat.) any item that could roll CC/CHD but didn't is pretty much a crap item. and not usefull in most setups. and this aint a fun game to play vanilla had/has the same problem.
Now with this change they can potentially change it so that CHD ain't so damn strong.
but i do agree that permanently locking all theses items out from being enchanted is a bad idea, and could be solved by only letting em roll lvl 60 stats and not lvl 70 stats. sure it would be a hidden system but this game got plenty of them anyway.
The biggest thing that makes lvl 60 legendarys so good is the crazy amount of CHD on them and APS to some extent. and this is where the focus of nerfing and balancing things should be focused on. But it seems that blizzard don't wanna do another attack speed % lash back. i understand em but if they dont fix CHD in some way this game will be forever broken in terms of gearing.
