You need more HP, Resist or Armor. You need to basicly want to aim to have the exact max HP that they would deal as damage. This way, you take the maximum amount possible that can be absorbed, and focus the rest on damage or other stats.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories

It's completely up to you really. Most people will prefer a 2-hander with less defense, because it is easier to get 1 good weapon, instead of 1 good weapon AND an off hand as well.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
It all comes down to preference.

Forgive me if I am mistaken, but it does not look like you get the Nephalem Valor Buff, at all.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Invincible Minions is always the worst, no matter what the other affix are.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Also, the already fast Naga in Act 2 that can go invisible and avoid everything until they hit you are by far the most stupid idea ever.

I personally have 46k HP, and almost 7k armor, I find it way better to have survival, and 5000 less dps, than more damage. More survival means you can be more reckless in how you attack, which leads to more damage in the long run. Unfortunately, unless a very OP build is found, your stuck farming gear until you beat it that way.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Also, with more HP, I prefer the +40% resistance rune on EA, as it negates a lot more damage in the long run, reaching close to 65% resist all and 70% damage reduction

This man clearly is aware of something that we are not, and is hiding the horrifying truth.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Bashiok in no way, or nowhere in his statement, claimed Legendary weapons have random affix. He said 99% of items have random affix. While legendary items could carry specific affix for the first few slots, they could also have additional random affix, or he may have only been referring to Rare and Magic items.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I recently added Homebrew Channel to my Wii, and am playing through Lufia 1, and once I beat that, I plan to play Lufia 2. Some of the great SNES RPG games of yesteryear.Posted in: General Discussion

Socketing items the wrong way ruins them and then there are no way to remove them
I think socket slots is only an affix on magical and rare items, not on sets or legendary
But still, if you upgrade ur blacksmith i think he can make some pretty nice rare gear for level 60
And those items will probably have sockets, and for some chars the smithed items may be the best one if the stats are perfect
Almost everything about this is wrong, except that the blacksmith can create items. In the full game, you have access to a second merchant follower that will provide gem services, such as removal (and you even get the gem back), and I believe if my memory serves me right, ability to add sockets to certain pieces of gear.
