One that might be just coincidence, is sometimes there is a armored corpse found in the beta that wears green and is eerily similar to link from the Zelda games.

Lowest of the low. I wouldn't buy a beta key if you paid me too. Its just wrong. And an insult to the developers imo.

posted a message on Bliz: WoW AnPass inteded to stop D3 from Cannibalizing WoW
I honestly can't imagine Diablo3 having that kind of effect on wow. Most of the people I know who play wow really have no interest in Diablo3. The wow hardcore's are a totally different breed of gamer than us hardcore diablo fans imo. The thing that will sell subs the most in the 12 month sub promotion is not diablo 3 itself, but the mount, and access to the panda beta.

I think some of you are missing what the OP is trying to say. He doesn't want actual runes back, he's just wondering why there aren't any items with the same name that the runewords created..

posted a message on Controversy over Week 3 Beta Contest
If it was just opinion, it wouldn't be controversy, it would just be a general discussion of the results. This thread is basically stating, that there is some sort of controversy. When there isn't. Its up to the judges, period... Nobody's opinion, can change that fact. *shrug. Not everyone can be a winner, and there will always be someone upset that they didn't win, and there will always be someone who thinks that other entrants should have won, but its not their job to begin with. And that's the point I'm making. So far, I've found that all the winners were great entries, but that's my opinion.

Get over it, its not what you people think is the winner, this isn't a forum feedback contest where members vote the winner. Its a subjective contest, where it's up to the judges. If the judge likes it, it will win, bottom line. No amount of qq will change ones perspective of whats good, and not good. Ever been to a bbq contest? They could all be the best bbq you've ever tasted, but only 1 of them can win.

Binkles story isn't a long one, but rather a tale of companionship. Ormus' companion. For he was found by Ormus, in a near fatal state, being a victim of the annoying pigmies poison dart that had gone astray. Ormus felt bad that such an innocent creature should be punished. He took it upon himself to give the poor frog an antidote, and cast a magical spell on the frog granting it eternal life. As his new pet, Ormus would tell his friend stories of lore, and mysticism, gaining all the knowledge Ormus knew himself. After a decade of great friendship, he left his friend, and told him he should spread his wisdom to any one who would listen. Since then Ormus has not been seen, but to this day, this small creature, lives through him, and his teachings, hoping to one day, touch the souls of those who need it. Maybe one day they will be reunited, but until then, he must journey forth into the unknown, spouting wisdom, and bettering the lives of those who will listen. And maybe eating a bug or two.

Well from the teaser video, he does look pretty terrifying. And does look like he's taken on some of baal and mephisto's traits. Imo, i like the new sexy lord of terror.

Glad you got your pc working. When dealing with computer electronics any small defects can cause big problems. It was likely the psu was to blame to begin with. Seeing how it fried just about everything it was plugged into. Likely was a bad ground, or bare wire.

    Quote from Krayzieone

    Quote from Darknarf

I don't understand why you think the larger number, or DPS number, makes it kiddy? Its the most important stat, so why not put some emphasis on it?

I don't think it will be the most important stat once people decide to actually start theorycrafting everything. Things are instant cast and based on weapon damage. The most important stat will be top end weapon damage and to counter the skills matching weapon speed, people will choose two "basic" skills to spam.

Regardless of if I am right or not (didn't want to start an argument), say I was correct and that the DPS does not matter to most people anymore. Does it being that big still make sense?

It will be a pretty important number since it will be the base for all your damage. At least that's how I understand the system working.
