Question: I was in the PTR que for an hour. The time changed a couple times from 2h24m to 2h42m. After being in the que for that long all of a sudden in started "searching for game..." counting up. Now it has been stuck at 29 seconds for an hour. I dont want to lose my que time and can't know how long this will take. Anyone have the same experience?

last couple of days I returned to diablo and was disappointed in the items compliable with arcane torrent. Why is there no items that come along with this awesome skill? I know there is some passives and skills working together, but not specifically designed for arcane torrent. I just post this so other people can shout their opinions and share some ideas.
I was thinking of the following.
4th set item gives:
Big nuke or strong rupture after 3 seconds of casting
Its free to cast but costs x arcane power to start
the fifth missile sucks in enemies from 15 yard to arcane vacuum
after 2 seconds of casting gain a protective shield
casting arcane torrent makes an extra ammount of missiles fly around you as protecting till casting stops
etc etc, think along with me and tell me your ideas

I'm currently traveling for two years already and dont even know what the mathael exploit was. I found a good internet cafe in KL to play RoS for 1 week to get p100 last month. I was a really happy man. I still follow the news regularly and just saw this guy going to reach level 1000. I dont care how, anyone with nothing better to do can do this. Using exploits or not, he still did it and I think that 1000 is a cool feat.
Anyone wasting so much time on a game is his own choice, but for people to complain about exploits is just sad. If you didnt have a job, kids, friends other hobbies and you wanted to be first p1000 you would have done EXACTLY the same thing. Apreciate that he decided to be that guy and not you. It is after all the same as laying a 1 million piece puzzle. Very cool, but anyone with enough patience and time can do it.
And telling me that I have to chillax and realise that this is a open forum. Whatever... you can never find what you're looking for on the Internet

Don't be so fast as calling it the same as TL, because that was adding random affixes and making others stronger. That was cool, but way too random. This just give a 75% (or you can make it higher with more of the special gems, thus costing more gold) chance to increase your dmg and affixes. It doesn't add affix. If we take out the level 10-13 item loosing, but letting it just go back to lvl 0 or lvl 9 it's good gambling in a static gambling when you know what's going to happen, and not like crafting being completely random.
@HuitZi: yeah MU online, awesome game back in the days, the private servers were even better:) there were actually some with a more stable economy then the normal game

The game i played was called MU online it was a mmo with the same idea as diablo. Kill monsters get items to grow stronger. They had a great system where you could upgrade the item level.
level 1-6 you could increase with a diamond called a bless. It was very rare, just as rare as legendary's in diablo 3. You could just drag the diamond on the item and it increased in one level.
level 6-9 was more difficult you needed something called a soul and the chance of succes was 75%. if you failed the item became lvl 0 again. After this you had to go to the chaos machine, our mystic and you could get it up to lvl 13. For lvl 10 you needed 1 bless and 1 soul. for every extra level you needed 1 more soul and bless. The chances for succesfulll combination of higher level's was reduces every time. This way it was really difficult to get to the lvl 13 item, but it made those items extremely strong.
if you failed in the chaos mahcine (mystic) your item got destroyed or you lost an affix.
There was also a way to make the rate of succes to 95%, but you needed a lot of extra blesses and souls to get it this high.
We can change the bless and soul into gems of a higher quality, like star ruby or something like that or add an extra item (diamond or gem) to drop for this machine.
Every level an item gained just got more damage or defense. This is kind of boring for today's game; diablo3 so maybe it can increase all the affixes by 2% every level in the first 9 levels and after that by 3-5%. This way an item that has level 13 and does a 1000 dmg or gives you 500LOH gives you something like 35% more of that. It solves a lot of problems of items circulating around, because a lot get destroyed and maybe even making an item lvl 13 account bound.

I was thinking about the mystic and how i could come back. Make centain "tears" or whatever you want to call it drop to make only certain skills better: dmg, speed, area, distance, time better on them. But you must put it on a skill and can only remove it by destroying it. You can add 3 slots to the skills and this way perfecting your build. The items must be pretty rare and can only be aplied to the skill it's for. For example "tear dmg for poison hydra" can only be aplied to the poison hydra rune. You can switch skills, but the rune will only stay on the rune type you put it on in the first place.
These items are also salvagable in something the mystic can add to items. Not really thought of this.

I would love to see the items they are wearing and what skills. Maybe even show a youtube movie link of him killing

Does this not excite anyone? I have no idea if this would make any build viable in higher GR, but it must add some more options..
Is there a thread somewhere that has a thorns build, because I would love to try it out in season 4!

Just make one type of rune, but with different kind of levels 1-7.
If you click a rune you will be able to choose what skill and what effect you want to put on it and it will get that effect. You can't take out the rune, but you can switch by putting another rune in it. The old one will disappear and you will have a different form of that skill. The levels of runes are just how strong of an effect you get. Maybe a bit more runes must drop in the beginning to promote experimenting, but this way the old runes will siphon out of the economy.

After two months you will only see super rares with mega stats on the RMAH and perhaps some inferno materials. Me personally, I will only buy and sell on the gold auction house, because the majority of players will buy/sell there and it will be much more stable. The price of materials for gold or real money will most likely be the same, but I think you can make the most money out of trading and swapping from GAH to RMAH. It will be very interesting to see the price of gold/usd and how much it changes.
This also brings the international problem that 10$ is the day-income of a chinese worker and 10$ is the income for one hour of work in the "west". This means the west can't live on diablo and chinese could. Therefore in china people will "make a (chinese) living" and in the west we can only make a little bonus.
Because of this aspect I hope there will be national servers where only a few countries or one country can play in. This will limit people with friends overseas, and that means there must be some international server too. Maybe this is hard to implement, but if they don't there could be laws passed in countries to prevent western money going to china this easy without knowing about it.
Another big danger is money laundering and perhaps this is far fetched: drug money transfer. Player 1 drug dealer puts weapon A (real weak weapon no one wants with specific stats) on the market for a big price. You can't see who is selling it, but you can find it eventually and then you buy it for 10k dollars you have transferred the money already and this way it's a new banking. Hope to see some replies on this theory.
