Is this skill an always hit skill? What I meant is, does it ever miss?
afaik in D3 everything always hits.
edit: what would interesting to know is if there i a range component like there was in D2?
Range pas pretty damn important for WW in D2.

I can confirm that. I had a crafted 2H sword with Cold Damage and some monsters hit become frozen, some shatter into ice pieces when killed AND I also slowed the SK with the sword but not consistently.

I suppose it's similiar to how WW worked in D2, where you did hit multiple times during one cast of WW. I don't see this being changed, so expect multiplew hits during one whirlwind cast and each hit having a chance to proc on hit stuff
except in D2 WW could not trigger any "has a X % chance on hit to ....... "
remains to be seen how it will wirk on D3

Hi!Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
so have this other thread where people talk about this topic and share their opinions and I like it but I can't read it all.
I thought it would be nice to get an overview which characters were surpringly fun or boring to play or felt stronger/weaker than anticipated.
For me the Barbarian was the most fun. Leap Attack is AWESOME and the feeling you receive when a blow is struck is well made.
The Monk surprised me the most. I had the Monk categorized in the not so interesting but it was really fun.
I was disappointed by the Demon Hunter. He/She felt weak but I hope that was because of the low level and with more abilities it will get better.

My favorite till Diablo 3 was the Diablo 2 Barbarian. Sad thing he sucked unless having the most awesome equipment (double Grief yay!).Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Blizzard did an awesome job giving you a way more intense feel when playing the barbarian and I think that in this game he will be able to stand his ground, to say the least.

I had a sword with + Cold damage and I am 100 % sure it slowed enemies. It was a visual effect and the "snared" text.Posted in: Theorycrafting and Analysis

It's hard to imagine all 4 classes on one screen, to be honest... I mean, sometimes I was very confused and couldn't see shit through all the spamfest that was going on...
I think that some effect should be toned down a bit.
picking up on that one. it IS a pain the ass from time to time. I had a DH and a WD in my group and they were mostly using Fire Bats and Rapid Fire ... I couldn't see damn thing
