I think you should get a Neph type buff each rift you complete to increase your Magic find, and it resets when a legendary is found. lol
That would be too much imo. Legs are already dropping at a decent rate. And when you're lucky you get tons of them. If they buff drops from rifts again then everyone will just get the gear they want/need in the matter of hours/days and there will be nothing left to do. On T2 I'm getting an average 1/leg upto 2/leg per rift including kadala. And it's steady. Sometimes I get 0 of course, and sometimes I get 3. When I get the pieces to farm T3 as efficient as T2 I'll be getting even more legs/hour. And I farm solo, if I had equally geared people to farm T3 rifts it would be even better with group buff + extra % from going to T3 from T2.

I farm T2 really efficiently. I've gotten around 25 legs from rifts+kadala farming 1k blood shards, did 2 runs capping out blood shards and those were my results. Got 15-16 from rifts and 9-10 from kadala. So yeah around 25, and I'd say I clear it on average around what, 8-10mins? Depending if I get a shitty rift with 10 levels and 12 mobs in each. But the ones that got decent density I'm around 5-6 mins with the clear. So either you're farming T3 really really slowly or you got the worst RNG ever. I have never gone an hour without at least a minimum of 1-2 legs recent rift buff. Usually "a bit" more. :)

It can be corrected you're right. But not in a way to make the game fun.

If player plays more then 10 mins drop a legendary.

If player plays more then 45 mins drop a set item.

Do you honestly think it's fun to play when the game is not about random an more about guaranteed legendary drops over a certain time period? No it wouldn't be fun know you'd get set item in xx amount of time or legendary in xx amount of time. But knowing it can drop anytime anywhere, that's whats fun. I farmed so much since RoS pre-patch hoping for a Thunderfury and Shard of Hate drop. I found them both now, and it was so good finding them. Now I just hope to find another one of those and hope it's gonna be better then what I currently have! When you farm for something and it finally drops. If you knew you would get good amount of legs/hour you would know you could get what you want in 2-3 days playing sessions cause you would just play 12 hours each day and be decked out. But with RNG you may get 5 in a row, you may get 0 for 2 hours. It's part of the game, and the part that's fun about it.

I was lucky to get chest pre-ros and helm 2 days after RoS, then I found belt yesterday now I just need the ring for 4p set bonus. :)

Question about the 4p though, do you only get the passive of others, or do you get all the active buffs when using it? When you use pop Mantra of course. :)

Also when I mean all, I don't mean all runes just the standard active one. ^^

posted a message on Legendary drop nerf or just bad RNG?
You're not the only one. They definitely nerfed drops. If they didn't then I guess my game is bugged. First week of 2.0, i was literally getting dozens of legendaries. Farming core with 4-5 avg an hour, same with Rumford, now IF i'm lucky I get MAX 1-2. Sometimes even 0, and that happens... quite often. If Im lucky I get 2. Where before if I was lucky I would get 2-4 within a min or two. That's excluding the drops I got on avg per hour. And this weren't just 1-2 runs, but 200+ runs. Now I barely get anything. So if bad luck, I guess I'm having 6th day of super bad luck. Cause there's no way I was being lucky before, my friend was also getting same drops. So they either nerfed it or bugged some characters including mine.

posted a message on It really is time for Blizzard to stop being lazy.
They weren't really exploits. It's just Blizzard not really knowing how to make this game more enjoyable.

Instead of having CotA give best XP, how about boost density in more places? Nope too hard, let's just nerf CotA.

So Rumford and Core runs give best legs? Let's nerf chests and leg drop instead of balancing it between elites, trash mobs and objects.

At some point, it will be 100% useless to farm high Torment levels. Cause A.) It wont be efficient for farming cause you have to kill WAY WAY to many monsters to get legendary items. And B.) Farming lower difficulty will be way faster then torment rewarding more legendaries, even though they've almost nerfed it to the spot you lose motivation to farm cause you barely get any. How many hundreds of hours am I supposed to farm to get my gear? 700? 1700? 3000?. I've got more legendaries then I can count now since patch, there's still a lot I haven't gotten, and that's JUST on my monk. What if I wanna play Wizard, or Barb etc? I'm gonna have to spend just as much time on them. I still don't have Thunderfuy, or Won Kim Lau, or Nemesis Bracers, or more then 1 inna's set piece. And I found many legendaries when Core and Rumford were great farming spots, also doing full playthrough. But the problem with full playthrough is that it's boring as hell, I hate some parts of Act1, I hate whole Act2, I hate some part of Act3 and I hate whole Act4. I've played through those Acts so many times I completely HATE THEM. Act1 and Act2 were alright in 1.0.8 because of mob density, but that's removed now.

I think Blizzard is missing the point of Diablo 3 and RTS games. In Diablo 2, people farmed same spots over and over, like Baal runs etc. Did that stop people from farming other places too? Or players to stop playing? No. We want to find legendary items, we want to get upgrades. We don't wanna farm things we don't wanna farm. Paragon levels don't mean much to me, if I wanted I could be plvl 450 on live, but 'm just 190, because I care more about items then some number next to your name giving you small amount of stats. I get motivated finding legendary items, I lose motivation when I farm and I don't get shit.

In 1.0.8, most legendary items were shit you found, heck almost all of them. But when you were finding 6+ an hour on average, even spiking up to 12 in just 1 hour. That's what kept you going. Now you can easily go without a legendary for 1-2 hours. One guy in my clan got 2 legendary items from FULL playthrough of the game INCLUDING Diablo's guaranteed legendary. So that's just 1 legendary for 4 hours of play time. Assuming you're not sick geared and running through the acts with 3 other people in 30mins or less.

I know Blizzard will most likely never read my post, but just what I feel about the game. Diablo is about legendary items and other good items. And paragon level should be optional. Also how long till they nerf all the good spots to get leg in RoS? Even doing bounties and rifts? Maybe they've already nerfed it to the ground since beta. Heck we might all be given base stats and remove all items from the game, cause items will no longer drop for us. Cause they nerfed everything. And everyone has a base 1000plvls cause mobs no longer give XP.

posted a message on RIP AH you will be missed
AH wasn't the main issue though, it was the itemization. You HAD to use AH. It wasn't optional. It had to go, but making items BoA was not the best decision, we should still have trading like in D2. If I find a sick items I don't need or will ever use, i can trade it for item I need, that someone else wont need. A lot of people will have advantage over me cause I mainly play solo cause I have no one to play with, so those who play with friend etc will gear up faster and get better rewards in group play. More drops, faster runs etc, higher difficulty farming because playing with 4 will have greater advantages over solo.

I guess it will work, if you use 4 DIFFERENT versions of D3 with 4DIFFERENT keys...
I do have 3 different b.net accounts. I even tried to allow launching multiple instances of b.net app and it gives me an error whenever I try to launch another instance of Diablo.

    Hello DiabloFans,

I've been trying to launch more then one instance of Diablo 3 so I can have my alt accounts in my group while I farm to see if I can get better drops. But B.net app doesn't let me and it is required. I heard isboxer does let you do it, but I'm not going to multibox, just have them afk while I farm on my main account. Anyone know how I can do this?

Hope I´m not posting in the wrong section, would be greatly appreciated if someone could tell me how. :)

How is this "timer" working? If I play for 2 hours I should get a legendary. But what if I only (can) play for 1 hour? Is the timer reset or can I just play another hour later to get the legendary?
They can't expect anyone to play for 10+ hours straight, obviously the timer doesn't just reset when you log out, disconnect, or take a break. If you want a blue post answer to this, you'd have to ask on the official forums rather than here, but somebody already asked this question anyways. But like I said, he's talking about 18+ hours streaks, those are impossible for most sane humans without taking a break.
I find it funny how they say "18+ hours" I personally think if you play an hour without a legendary there's something wrong. Considering the amount of legendary items in RoS, the possibilities to not have a guaranteed roll of what you really want. I think 1 legendary an hour is even too little. I mean on live I've found 1 mempo in 1500 hours. And the drop chance isnt low. Combine the drop chance on beta, and the amount of legendaries, finding a mempo like on live, it wouldn't take 1500 hours, it would take probably if lucky 15000 hours.

You are all babies, I can tell that most of you have grown up in the 'modern' era of gaming where everything is spoon-fed to you. The drop rates of legendaries have to be low because otherwise the game will have very low longevitiy. It's not supposed to be a single player game, if that was the case then I would agree that the dorp rates should be higher. This isn't the case how ever, this game is ment to be played for several hundered hours and still be rewarding and enjoyable. But don't worry kids, the baby brigade usually wins in the end so you will probably get your precious legendaries in droves.
I want the game to last several hundred hours of course. I played D3 for over 1500 hours. But I don't want it to take couple hundred thousand hours to get what you want. I wouldn't mind low drop chances, as long as the items are tradeable, not BoA crap. What if I want that specific legendary weapon for my crusader? Or those specific shoulders? I may never get them, cause of the low drop chance, unless I get lucky, or play 12 hours a day all day of the year. Yeah I can't do that. I don't wanna be left out cause I can only play 2-3 hours a day, and maybe not all days of the weeks. And I have other classes you know.. Diablo isn't just a game to play one class, it's a game where you should be able to play all of them, without restrictions, like super low drop chance.

I didn't bother reading all this. But when he said "Let me ask you this. What amount of time do you personally think it should take to get a legendary?" This is just a stupid answer. It's not about how long it should take to find a legendary, it should matter how long it will take to get the legendary items you WANT. It's BoA, if they want to make legendary items rare, then they're screwing all players. Cause we have to find them our selves, or someone in group. It wouldn't be normal to play 18 hours a day, 7 days a week, 12 months a year to get the gear you want, and still not having the best or great piece of that specific items. And considering there´s TONS of legendary items that can drop, including plans, and after watching streams of people playing beta, I personally think the drop rate is too low. They should've just kept it how it is now at live, just with loot 2.0. Just because there's no AH, doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to trade items. Sure there will be scammers, but hey theres scammers everywhere, even irl, you can't avoid having scammers around, you can minimize the risk of getting scammed to close if not never getting scammed. We don't always have to find upgrades our selves, but it helps. But limiting it to only allow ourselves to find what we need, is kinda too much. I've already got the pre-ordered game, but I'm not sure if it will turn out to be good. I'm kinda having second thoughts now, starting to wish I didn't get it.

posted a message on Drop rate difference between Difficulty Settings

Moldran farmed 80 bags on normal and opened on T6. I think he got 20+ Legendarys including plans, but like 4 of them were items. But I'm not on beta to test this. Also I hope they're gonna change how looting is in this game drastically or its gonna fail big time, even more then original Diablo 3. I can see my self farming 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, 4 weeks a month 12 months a year for 5 years to get what I want. That sounds like a more grind then it already is in Diablo 3, cause at. Also since everything is BoA I'm gonna have to farm it on all my chars I wanna play, and I wanna play them all eventually.

posted a message on The definitive BoA Thread on Official D3 Boards.

There's 2 things I don't want in Diablo, finding items only for my class. Yes I have other classes I want to play without having to switch to them and start with completely crappy items cause I have to find it self found. And second of all I don't want to farm 10 years for the specific item I want. Many hours on PTR, and only 3 legendary items so far. That´s like 3 out of 1000 you can find, and finding the right one might take a few tries. And on live where you farm legendary items easily, a few per hour you still have trouble finding the specific legendary items, like mempo or echoing fury for example. I think they tried to improve the game drastically but went way over the line. But I hope ladders will fix this non sense.
