"There is no exact release date yet, but the game is on track for release between March and July of 2009. Thanks for using ChaCha"
It is what it is.. companies shouldn't have a set release date until it is released from Blizzard. With that said... Jay WIlson unable to debunk the April 17th 2012 claim is a sign that something is coming soon regardless if it is this date or near by. Regardless It would be nice to see Blizzard take its fan by surprise and give us a early release date a month or so away. It's frustrating to see all these companies world wide set us up for the game including blizzard with false time frames or dates. The game is losing its excitement and blizzard could see some huge player base fall off just due to the lack there of. Personally several friends of mine across the states have all ready lost hope and are now looking forward to other games such as GW2/ Tera/Secret world and FireFall. Even as a consumer I myself will wake up every day going to my game news sites looking for that one spec of hope with a release date or progress update to my favorite games and games to come. With that said Diablo III has lost its flavor with me and as the years, months, days, hours tick down to whatever release date my social group is quickly moving on to bigger and better games. Blizzard will stall the game as long as humanly possible just to make it right or perfect. Let's put this into perspective...
Has anyone ever played a blizzard game that wasnt extremely flawed at launch? Just like almost every game that is created and launched...
Has anyone ever played World of Warcraft and noticed how the game has changed/evolved since release? I logged in and it felt completely different run down and content to be extremely to moderately easy even thru hardmodes..
Whos to say that they won't do what they did to WoW they will do again over and over to the Diablo Franchise? Even when blizzard has announced that they have plans to nerf content similar to World of Warcrafts new Raid Ideals. Lets get all the same gear into people who spend roughly 2 hours aweek as those who spend 25 hours aweek (regardless of item stats etc).
What I am getting at here is Diablo III has this highly expected success rate upon release because we the fans are soo entirely dedicated to the franchise of Diablo. But this game and like every other game it will never be perfected upon a release and by holding back a new title such as Diablo III the company is taking huge risks and losing fanbase weekly. Even then when it is released and go forth and nerf content 6-12 months after release to help those who are not as dedicated (players as most of us are). Diablo II never handed anyone anything and was frankly never nerfed (thank god) Even with that adding Inferno in Diablo II it still gave those who would test the system to the max would be rewarded signifcantly and it shows. I cannot imagine waiting another 3-6 months for a the release of a diablo then months after it being nerfed to the ground so everyone can then go through inferno and pick up that new gear.
Gaming industry is huge and of course games are always being released... At this point I feel this is Starcraft Ghost which I followed Closely for so long only to find my hopes shattered just as World of Warcraft was upon release of Wrath / Cataclysm.
This build remains to be one of my strongest Solo builds.
It focuses most of the damage done by the follower. But maximizes the monks capabilities as a tank and aoe knockback abilities. His aoe damage will be enough to sustain large groups of minions without sacrificing any down time. He replenishes a ton of spirit back on his attacks and from his summoned ally.
Eternally this build will be the ultimate solo build for end game PVM.

Ask.com is showing several different companies with a release date like Amazon.com 3/31/2012
http://www.ask.com/w...e&o=15145&l=sem
Chacha.com says that they were expecting a relase of 09'. Perhaps they meant March-July 2012?
