I don't think Blizzard is smart. It is not certain fact that they are.

Anyway, could they prevent bots by having someone enter a security code each time they make a new game and create auctions - The same concept you see when registering for forums?

Having to do this may be a nuisance, so perhaps they could have this requirement activated only on highly active accounts.

posted a message on Jay Wilson - Skill and Rune Changes
The previous rune system is better.

It's casual mentality (making things EASIER and CONVENIENT), which people think is better for the majority, but just because it fits the majority, doesn't mean it's better. I believe the casual mentality will break people's respect for games in the long run and is like comparing expendable money versus sentimental value.

The previous rune system is better for the basic concept that there would be additional effort to acquire runes. With this new system, it is handed to you as you level up, which already is "easily" doable.

New art, apart from my every day life. I also can't wait to use Seismic slam...visuals on the barbarian's attacks.

posted a message on Playing D2 recently....
The lack of spell animation while being a melee class and "impossibility" of finding high runes. That's about the only thing I dislike.

That is so ironic. There's no lore in the winner's posts at all.

[Edit/Repost: See 2nd from last last line for edit. *Additional lore, just in case you go through these before the deadline]

    Binkles the Frog

The Witch Doctors of Sanctuary scoured the marshes and jungles in search of the lost graves of grotesque creatures to reanimate for their own bidding against the greater evils arising in Sanctuary.

Found in the swamps of Tristram Wood were legions of amphibians and their extinct ancestors, undisturbed. With the toads and frogs of Sanctuary under the Witch Doctor’s control, the spirits of the swamp are reluctantly reawakened to familiar evils.

After the fall of the mysterious Fallen Star, a newfound intelligence has swathed over several of these living descendents. Many attempted to flee to find new peaceful waters, only to be greeted by death.

Only one amphibian influenced by the Fallen Star is known to have escaped the forces of Hell and the Witch Doctor’s summoning. The elusive amphibian, given the nickname Binkles the Frog by the denizens of Sanctuary *for he bears the scars of a demon's mouth*, is said to be in search of something to help rid the land of Hell, and to release his kin from the Witch Doctor’s disposal...
