posted a message on Wiz Player Realistically a Little Bored with D3
People are bored because item drops and farming was poorly done. The Nef 5 stack buff does practically nothing for boss runs. While inferno is possible, it is over tuned. Hell there are still runes for skills that simple don't work still (like magic weapon blood magic). I think the game itself is fun, but the endgame was tagged on with little to no testing (sorry but testing it then doubling the difficulty is not testing). MF and loot still sees to be a little broken as well. Is MF split in a group? Who knows, the tooltip doesn't change and even in 250% MF and full NV buff you get junk. I know they didn't want people to do only boss runs, but now people just farm 1 spot that has a chest or a goblin over and over in full MF gear. Not sure how that is different or more interesting that the old boss runs.

With all that said, the game is fun and has its moments. Its a little lacking for the amount of time put into development. It should be interesting to see what kind of changes they make to fix some of the major issues. Looking forward to see what the next major patch brings.

Would love to see a video of a kill. I keep getting screwed by teleport. So far the record is 5 teleports in 10 seconds.

Yes the mobs were higher than me and would nearly 2 or 3 shot me. I just found it interesting since there is a penalty for the lvl difference, yet I caught up very fast. With enough +exp gear you can really speed things up. One of our friends log in our game and lvl 1 on his wd while everyone was 17 and he caught back up to everyone at lvl 20 as they plowed through high lvl mobs with him following.

I have found some weird leveling mechanics that revolve around joining friends games that are higher leveled. I am an IT admin and have been playing off and on today depending on when I had free time. Everytime I join back to play my friends are 3-4 higher than me. Within 45 minutes I am able to get back to the same level as them. I am wearing some +exp gear but nothing too crazy. It seems there is some form or exp normalization going on that allows the lower level person to catch up much faster. So far this has allowed me to play hours less time and remain the same level. Anyone else noticed this?

Are you really surprised that they failed at launch? Happens every time. Hell it happened open beta weekend.

Are you on the newest gpu drivers from nvidia? Also this game is more more CPU intensive than gpu. Are you sure your oc is 100% stable? Bump it down to stock and try to play. Yes I know it is watercooled, but that does not guarantee a stable oc. Trust me I build them for a living. For now double check nvidia driver and go to stock CPU settings and see if that helps. If not let me know and we can go from there. Sorry for crappy typing, but it's posted from my phone.

this too. if you think you can multi box inferno your effing high. you need your classes to work together helping not doing the same abilities at once. and if your characters are all on top of eachother and some mob drops a big AOE, you just wiped all 4 of your guys. instead of maybe just 1 dying then the other 3 players can revive you and help. like i said. waste of time and money to do this.

I have a feeling that your right and that inferno will be either impossible or take forever. But then again i felt people would never be able to multibox instances or arena in wow.

Also while I don't plan on even multiboxing, I think the people who are planning on doing it will be using it to farm gold or to sell max level characters. There are good farm locations in the game to make tons of gold and 4 chars means 4x the gold. I really don't know how profitable the RMAH will be but I am sure someone is going to make some decent $ on it. Mats and gold will be much easier and consistant to farm than inferno, so multiboxers will most likely do that instead.

So let me get this straight... you have 3 Beta accounts and you use them to multibox?!
Thats F'ed up man. There are tons of people wanting to try out the beta and your rich ass somehow got 3. AND YOUR USING THEM TO MULTIBOX!

    Unbelievable.

I have more than 3, but all have gone out to friends. My main account has been in since November while the others got in in dec and jan. I have given them all away for people to play. For this I simply used my account, my wife's account, and one of my friends who is on vacation. Not sure why all my accounts got in, but I did spread the wealth.

Could you multibox 3 DHs? I would love to see a room fill up with chakrams and just cut everything to pieces!

I am making the video right now for you. Its lvl 5s, I will get them to SK here soon and post a new one after that. I have the wiz ones loading right now.

I would think looting would be a pain in the ass.

yep. sepparate loot = mutli box fail city
Actually I already touched on this. Takes a wooping 5 seconds to pick up any important loot. That was actually the easiest part. at lvl 9 when i killed Sk for the first time I had 80k gold, 95 blue mats and 10 gold ones. This is without any grinding or stacking any gold find. I just threw on whatever blue they had and went on.

You have to remember that i have all 3 screens on my desk so i can easily see what dropped and click it for each one. Its not like you are alt tabbing or cant see the other screen. Multi tasking is easy when you are used to it. I have to do IT work and use 3 monitors for work as well so I am used to it.

The worst part is all the whites that drop. If they include a loot filter (which a blue post said they will most likely add it) then it would prevent picking up of white items and make life that much easier.

Again this thread is not about if you should multibox, if it will be legal, or how you feel its bad. It is simply to show it can be done since I have had several request from many sites asking about it. If you have questions or whould like to see a different class let me know. If it is just going to turn into a thread crap fest then I will not be back.

im planning on buying 4 accs to multibox.

is there a way you could write a tutorial ?
Sure. There is a guy on the bliz forum who is doing it all through software and 1 computer running Virtual machines. If your ok with doing it with multiple computers and less software than I will write one up.

Here is a link to his thread on the bliz forum http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/4175829121?page=1

    Haters gonna hate.

Thought it was a cool video, I haven't seen anyone post a video on multiboxing yet.

Must be difficult to pick up all the individualized loot, though.
Honestly the loot thing wasnt too bad. I have all the screens on my desk and most loot falls in the same spot. The hard part is the fact that so much white loot drops. If they add a loot filter like in d2 then it will be much better. Once in town I just throw all blues on the ground then use my main to sort through them and outfit the chars.

Urg, it looks like it is a pain in the a**. According to your video. Though, kudos on doing it, but I will just stick to my one character.
Lol me too. I plan on playing a barb on start and my wife is playing a DH. I tried to lvl melee characters and it made me want to cry. Mages worked well. In fact I think mages will be much better than WD due to their higher damage and cc.

I'm sure there is ways to improve multiboxing. Maybe, coding a mod to help get the heros in sync and pick up seperate items. Blizzard didn't say mods aren't allowed, they just said they don't support them.

They did however make 3rd party software bannable in the terms of agreement
