having summons not only means they are doing damage while you are but they are also distractions and permanant CC and will allow you to spend MORE time doing DPS and LESS time doing CC so it will ALWAYS be better to have them
It wasn't better to have them in the beta against SK, as they died in one shot and were a waste of a skill slot.
Something about that word "always"...

Don't act like you have the slightest clue about how release is going to be. Also, your absolutest statements (re: always) are just further proof of the self-delusion that you continually spread here.
If they were absolutely essential, they would be a baseline ability, not a random skill choice, noob.
It is a random skill choice, but there is a perfectly reasonable and logical reason for that.
So that the noobs don't pick it, thus fucking up their builds. There are lots of mediocre skill decisions throughout the game to screw up your character, and they are intentionally put there so you mess up. Through trial and error you eventually figure it out, and your understanding of the class mechanics progress. This is just part of the natural progression of the game, and even more seasoned gamers like myself will learn quite a bit when we actually get in there and start playing. The only difference is that we will just adapt faster, as we are more accustomed to the game features and mechanics. We are just trying to give you solid advice to get you off on the right track.
Although, a lot of people don't realize this, but noobs are an important part of a game community. After all, who is going to buy the inferno Legendaries I put on the AH, if not for the noobs? Also, who would me mentor, and feel superior to, if not for noobs? That sounds kind of arrogant, but it is the truth. Building up a character you can be proud of, one that you can sit back, look at, and say "damn I am awesome...I am way better than those guys over there" is a huge part of the game.
Doesn't even matter, classes are balanced really well. ^^ I'd choose Wiz though, they seem less gear dependant which is a good thing for a first char.
Based on what? Your experience in beta?
I will tell you straight up, the Wizard is going to be a late bloomer. She is going to suck til she gets the right gear.
Some people don't like that sort of thing.
A guide being legit has nothing to do with a guide having small errors.
Those bradyguides are legit, legit crap. They are completely littered with errors, and the info they do have that's correct is basically common knowledge.
i believe it was Jay but one of them said it was a low consumption of internet similar to D2 so expect a twice the amount D2 uses which im sure is over kill and 25 MBPS should be enough to even listen to music online lol
I played D2, and even WoW to a lesser extent on dialup.
Its terrible, but it can be done. To tell you the truth it was probably about the same shitty experience btn the 2 games.
many elites affixes are only assumptions, and even then no one's ever fought agains't all of them, so a combination of many tricky affixes in inferno could very well require a build you couldn't even think before playing the game until that point haveing played TQ, Torchlight, D1, D2 etc, doesn't mean you will be a pro in D3 perfectly capable of evaluating how each build is viable or not before the game's release...
Its a simple game. Even throwing in some unexpected things like waller affix or w/e doesnt change that. You don't need a supercomputer to figure this stuff out.
Gargatuan was only seen in the WD spotlight video IIRC, and we didn't know if it used a rune, wich one it used if it did and the power/life of it... like I said seeing a video of a skill cast in a black void spot agains't no one dosen't give us an damn about the viability of every runes/skills agains't packs of elites in inferno...
Its a tank pet. What else do you need to know? You don't even need a video to figure out what he does, and what the runes do.
How exactly can you claim to be an expert? I mean, it's a nice evaluation of the skills, but you've never used most of them (assuming you were one of the chosen).
I have used a huge chunk of them throughout the long Beta. They alternated the skills quite often to have a huge chunk of them available.
I have also seen a lot of the runeskills via videos.
Also most skills are rather self explanatory.
Its not like I am pulling most of this out my ass.
ahh yeah because seeing videos of skill used agaisn't no one or mobs that we don't know the stats/abilities etc, clearly makes it possible to think of every possible viable build for a game that isn't even out yet
This game really isn't all that unique. If you have an understanding of the skills, and a good deal of past experience with similar games, then its not beyond someones cognitive abilities to make up and play out scenarios to get a feel for the skills.

because Big Bad Voodoo, Fetish army every last runes, wall of corpses, gargantuan. etc, were all available at some point in beta...
Even if you have never used the skills, or seen them being used.
Though you can see all those in videos except Big Bag Voodoo i think.
Without the right rune, poison dart just sucks because dots don't stack.
The generation skills mostly suck...some can yield huge chunks of your mana on use. Why would you even bother with these shitty skills that give single digits back?
I feel there might have too much micromanagement with 2 short duration buffs.
Also, I think you would do better with a real ohh shit button when you come in contact with an elite pack as well.

Other than that, its completely up to you.

Draining Spirit + 30 MpS = 100 mana in 2.5 seconds = useless information

100% crit is not silly.
Skills lack crit
Buffs lack crit
No stat yields crit
You need perfect crit affixes on every item to get 100%.

With that one change, I think it becomes an insanely strong build.
