    dunno why ppl complain about the colors. there's 5 different color schemes to choose from!. you can choose to ONLY have sharpening. that is, get rid of the blurriness.
    i tried it, and when i switched back to normal, i was like...ewwww so blurry, im sticking to sharpening!
    i mean, take any picture, and apply blur, and it wont look nice. dunno why they blurred it so much. just makes it pointless to add details to textures, since it disappears with the blur...
    i tried strong, and hardcore, hardcore is way to colorless, strong was quite ok. maybe i'll just use sharpness for retail :)

    lols. how could you not know that lighting/shadow is among the most important things to make a game look good?
    you can make a pure white stage look nice with only ambient occlusion :P
    Well since this is done with gpu, and not by the game, it doesnt look entirely correct in some places.

    If Diablo 3 Hell is as hard as Diablo 2:LOD Hell (after patch 1.09?), I believe D3 Inferno will kick everyones ass at release...
    uhm in d2 you could solo in 8ppl games, and hard was still hard, unless you had someone to rush you through the content.
    the ppl rushing was usually those that bot, dupe, or buy botted/duped items.
    so try imagining hard without the endgame gear. and then make the mobs 2x stronger. and you get inferno...sounds hard enough?

    all they do is remove glow shader. most MMOs nowdays have option to turn on or off glow shader.
    dunno why there's no option for it in D3. maybe there will be? i think it looks more gothic and such without it.

    its a game-mod. external shader, that you copy into game folder.
    there was a vid a while back, that showed it,
    you could change a few different things. color correction and/or glow filter (to make it look more crisp) dunno if there's more to it now.

    To put you straight on this. Inferno isn't level 61 mobs... its Level cap +1. If they up the level cap to level 70 in the expansion then the inferno mobs become level 71.
    they would need to rebalance all difficulties, or there would be a gap between hell and inferno of 10+ lvs.
    if you would need to go to inferno in lv 5x items, and fight 7x mobs...that would be a problem.
    or i suppose that if they add a new act, then act5 hell would be 60-70.
    then they would need to make all inferno items into hell items, and make new lv70 inferno items. or rebalance all inferno items 60->70
    ...or add another difficulty :)

    no one is forcing you to play inferno, so its not a question of if it's needed or not. it's good that its there, so ppl that want a challange can do it, those that dont want it, dont need to bother ofc. just cause someone doesnt want to go, doesnt mean it's pointless to add it at all...

    btw why are you ppl talking about inferno as a contest area to divide crappy and good ppl? is it so important with a e-peen?
    even crappy players will be boosted through inferno, so dont have any illusions inferno gonna be free of crappy players...

    Yeah last night at like 8pm EST, there were only 350 people in public games. 100k seems like such an unreasonable number, and I highly doubt ~95%+ of the people playing beta are in private games.
    a lot of ppl have stopped looking at their battle.net accounts, and many ppl dont follow forums either. so from those 100k ppl im sure the majority arnt playing yet, cause they arnt aware that a big wave went out.
