Why do I have the feeling that she is actually looking through the eyes of Diablo. It seems like Azmodan is not talking to Leah, but refering to Diablo himself...Maybe Leah will truly be taken over by Diablo.
My thoughts exactly. Azmodan addresses Leah as if he were speaking to a superior (hence the "I defy you"). The cinematic makes a lot more sense if Leah were one of the prime evils.

I love attack speed. If possible, I try to get it on everything
Stats, as long as I'm above 40k hp, I tend to prioritize all resist > armor > phys/fire resist > str/vit. I feel fairly comfortable at 1000ish LoH; I would recommend getting at least that much before tackling Act3/4 inferno.
Favorite place to farm is probably a combination between Inferno ponies, Inferno Diablo (5 stack). Siege breaker is extremely easy and quick as well, but the loot doesn't feel as good.

Well, Inferno is designed to be challenging. If you could 5 stack kill Inferno Diablo without spending more than 10 mil on gear, would you really consider the game balanced/challenging?
I was too, but then I realized that wizards /DH in the same level of gear as me struggle -more- in act 4 inferno. Barbs eventually reach that level where they're too tanky to kill, and we can grind down any elite pack. Wizards/DH on the other hand will always be squishy. A fallen angel pack will randomly kill them regardless of how much gear they have.
My wizard/DH friends are complaining about how I have no problems with act 4 inferno now, and yet they continue to struggle with it no matter how much better their gear improves.

Hmm, your stats seem good except your hp is a bit low. You also need to increase your resistances, especially physical/fire to above 1k. Put a lot of priority in gear that has AR + phys/fire resist + armor; armors like these are huge boosts to your mitigation.
Your armor is far outpacing your all resist, you should look to equalize them.
Playstyle wise, are both of you using threatening shout? If not, I would recommend picking it up as it's essentially another -20% damage taken. Also try to utilize leap (iron impact) as much as possible and only fight the difficult packs when you have the 300% armor up.

Leap + Furious charge has been the core of my build, and I wouldn't switch this combo for any other.
I've been a big fan of threatening shout (grim harvest) as it's essentially another -20% damage taken with 15% additional loot generation.

1300+ armor storm shields beat out sacred shields due to the 4% melee 4% elite reduction. Sure, sacreds block ~150 more damage on average but with Diablo inferno as the standard (hits for about 4k), 4% melee = ~160 reduction per hit, 4% elite = another ~160 reduction per hit.
I'm also trying to work in double Ias rings/Andy's helm into my gear. I find myself surviving fine but I'm looking for more damage.

Stormshield (using a 27% one with 1300 armor) was one of the best purchases I ever made. This shield is worth it's weight in gold. I would definitely try to snag one asap -IF- it has +armor and a decent block% (25-26+). I'm personally of the opinion that shields are 100% necessary right now for smooth runs. You can get away with dual wielding, but you'll probably be dying significantly more.
SoE, imo, is not mandatory. As others have mentioned, there can be a considerable stat loss using SoE. Further, things that tend to kill you (fiery chains, molten) are often not melee attacks. I'm probably going to try another belt soon as comparison.
Another note, I'm currently at 46966 hp (yes you're reading that right) and I'm feeling extremely comfortable at this level of hp. I don't feel like you really need monstrous amounts of hp because you won't get 1 shot as a well geared barb. What you really need to focus on is ways to mitigate and sustain the incoming damage.

Vs fire chains and molten, always fight walking backwards. Hit only the target on the outside of the pack. Leap --> fight till you're low --> furious charge out --> repeat.

Note: I did have someone bug in my enchantress merc just for safe measures =P. I probably could've killed him it without.

Overall thoughts: Inferno Diablo, is more or less a joke for a barbarian. He literally cannot kill you unless you decide to walk into shadow prisons at half hp. We probably have the easiest time farming valor stacks as well due to the fact that corrupted angel packs tend to destroy DH/Wizards. Personally, it took me about 55 minutes to farm 5 stack valor.
All in all, I'm quite happy with Barbarians at the moment. Act 2 was extremely frustrating, but now looking back it was really just a big gear/play style check. Once you start breaking 9.2k+ armor, 800-900 all resist, 500-600+ life on hit, the game gets a lot better.
