Im working on a zoosader myself on ptr. And Im doing pretty well right now on T2 and I dont even have the essential items to make this build amazing. You will need Lord Commander for your avatars. Fanatacism for Smite. Long arm of the law passive for Laws of Valor (critical).
Main items you will need, Akhans set, Eternal Union(increase phalanx duration by 200%), Baleful Remnant, Unrelenting Phalanx(shield - doubles avatars summoned) I may have missed a thing or two but thats basically it.
I think you can't use the $5 on the game itself. You get it after the purchase of the game, which means you have to buy something else in order to use the gift card.
