Hahaha, It would be one hell of a death grip. Not only this; but I think I shall have it put into my cofin with me. Then if someone clicks on my grave, my skeleton will come to life an diablo 3 will be the loot or killing me.... Again...

    I think that's how it works :S

Never tell your mother this plan.

All fine and dandy. Now, ehm .. add a b?

It's the same as people who add random apostrophes to plurals or any word that ends in the letter 's'. They see some people making simple mistakes, think it's correct, get confused about what's correct, etc. etc. etc. After a while, they just don't care anymore.

Then you inevitably get "that guy" who tells us all that this isn't an english class. He'll be in this thread at some point, I'm sure...

    Quote from Krazor
If I wanted item quality classified as "Legendary" as oppose to "Unique" I would have
kept playing WoW after TBC exp pack came out.. You will forever be missed Uniques.
I feel the exact reverse. In D2 it always felt wrong for the items in the game most likely to have exact duplicates of themselves called "unique". If anything, rares in D2 should have been called unique (because it'd be damn near impossible to find two that were identical, right down to the name) and uniques should have been called rare (cause they weren't common, but pretty damn likely to have duplicates).

I for one am glad they made a system that doesn't make a mockery of the english language.

Don't tolerate the intolerable. Report them, and they will be muted!
If people are tolerating it, it can't be intolerable, now can it?

To the OP: No one out there "deserves" a key, and the people in your screenshot are there to test server issues first and gameplay issues second. Blizzard has a large QA team, full of professionals, doing the real testing. So by being online, those guys are doing their job just fine.

posted a message on bosses are one shotting dog.
There's actually a lot of precedent (from Diablo 2) for bosses dealing extra damage to summons and mercenaries. A merc that could tank almost anything better than the player would get 2 shot by many bosses. It makes you think and actually react to the boss mechanics, rather than just sending in your tank and ignoring them.

i have faith in that contest, it took me so many hours theorycrafting on calculator.. man that was hard, so i made a post trying to show every positive aspect of my build and why i choose those skills/passives/gear/followrs...

Anyway i hope those ppl who will win, really deserve it.
And i have idea, would be cool if molster post the winners and theyr builds.
Just because you spent more time on it, doesn't mean you deserve it any more. They specifically said they were picking random entries that met the contest criteria; just because you decided to spend hours on it doesn't factor into it at all. People who followed the instructions to the letter (and no more) deserve to win just as much as anyone else.

    Here's my build:

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#bVXlOm!YXf!YYbYcb

The basic concept is to make as many pretty colors as possible, so as to better attract ponies. Everyone knows that ponies love bright flashy things, so a wizard as base just makes sense... they'll come wandering over from hither and yon and the wizard will offer them snacks and subjugate them to his will. With more ponies comes more power, and with more power comes the ability to defeat the forces of hell once and for all!

posted a message on Rare and Champion Loot > Boss Loot
    Quote from Ruppgu

It's a flaw in the system if it discourages killing either champions or bosses.
But there's nothing that discourages either. If you're walking down a ficticious magical street, and you know that there's a box at the end of it with $800 in it, but the there are also potentially boxes scattered around in the side alleys with $1000 in them, are you going to say "screw the $800, I'm going for the thousand!" or are you going to look for $1000 boxes on your way to the $800 one, and get both?

They are clearly refering to storage space, not the number of database requests.
Not necessarily true. They evaluated the storage we'd be likely to need per account, and reduced it such that the number and complexity of database queries resulting from that stored data would be more managable.

    Quote from dwierst
And besides, it Twitter can solve that, shouldn't Blizz be able to? ;-)
The better question here is "does it make sense from a financial standpoint for them to do so?" For Twitter, that's all they do, so it's fix it or die. For Blizzard, it probably makes a lot more sense to give us a good compromise between storage space for users and cost to them, both in development and hardware.

Also, I'd be shocked if they didn't want to have "More stash space!" as a feature of their expansions, so they have to set the eventual goal and scale back from it for initial release, to have room for the future expansion.
