Main reason to do MP10 is when you stomp everything else so hard it's not even fun anymore. Myself i'm playing MP10 when in mood or MP8 when cba to pay attention. Overall feels like MP8 is sweet spot for exp, but i imagine that after few upgrades i'll be stomping MP 10 almost as hard as i do MP8 atm.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

US Diablo 3 Armory : http://us.battle.net...2/hero/24559216
I also have a Skorn :
4,70 life steal
socket (100% crit or 130/130 ruby)
when equip= -8k life / +10k dps
You can switch to scorn, change pants for solid vit/int/resistance to increase ehp, pick spirit vessel (it's really good on mp10). 170-180K dps with scorn, 60K hp and 700 resistances, more lifesteal will work wonders for your safety and will allow you to farm MP 10 reliably.

Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote from HideriusExample: how can the low-budget Path of Exile be able to directly compete against Diablo 3?
Tbh i watched some PoE videos and came to conclusion that it sucks... Then open beta came and i downloaded it for shits and giggles becouse i've been tired of 1-61 paragon farm on Wiz (after i got bored with monk during 1-54 paragon heh). And i can't say how embarassed i'm now judging game based on random dude stream - it has more depth then D3, it has character development that you've to plan out, it has insanely well though currency system based on craft system.
Tbh PoE&D3 simply shows that money can't make game great on their own. Also Blizz somehow fucked up D3 right from the start. D3 inferno was insanely hard before first nerf and just hard before 2d and it's still hard and threatening on higher MPs so i wouldn't call D3 easy game, becouse it's not unless you want it to be. But... how the hell Blizz came up with fucked up lvl progression and completly brainless skill system? It completly kills off character development - 10 hrs of play and you have access to everything and can try every build, throw 50-100 euro into RMAH and you tried a every build at quite high specs (high enough to cope the feel).
20 hrs after you started you saw everything, tried everything (if you wanted), choosen what you're going to run and it's time to dive into hundreds upon hundreds hrs of runing A3 for paragon expirience that really doesn't add anything to your character. Imo D3 is the worst game crafted by Blizzard up to date and they aren't adding enough of new content to make game better and more interesting.

Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient RepositoriesQuote from Kallizki lol irl to these statments that "Wiz must be CM or archon, barb must be hota or WW"
i have both a barb and a wizard, actually two wizards, one of them HC, and i do not play those builds, i can still clear mp10 np on both softcores, and i still manage a clean 60m xp/hour on my wiz SF, granted that there are ppl that make more xp, but are they playing with the build they like? there are alot of cool working builds out there.
And who said you can't run other builds? Past some gear lvls you can run almost everything granted you didn't draft skillset with closed eyes. Thing is that this builds don't dish remotely close dmg to imp archon (with added survivability) or provide utility of CMWW. Actually rest classes are in a similar situation with couple builds way ahead of the rest, but since we're talking about Wiz it's worth mentioning that long awaited patch brings almost no changes promoting new builds. Imo we'll have to wait for expansion for proper skill system rebalance.

Multiboxing this and that and becouse blah blah.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
OT: You can try it, but lightning stun % is really unreliable, but add there 4 enchoing fury for fear proc and few other items with random cc chances and screen will be perma-cced.Storm armor is a huge EHP loss, perhaps even too huge for hardcore - although MP0 is easy but random server spike can go a long way towards reducing your gang in numbers:P

Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient RepositoriesQuote from JaetchGet Blackthorne's set (Jousting Mail and Duncraig Cross).
That's probably the best advice for your budget - Dungain Cross with 180+int/9 AS/8cc+ will cost you ~80 mil and real good Jousting Mail can be picked for ~ 60 mil. Alltogether you can expect 300+ vit, 24% live, ~400 int and ~900 LoH, extra armor.
After i would seriously consider droping APS to 2.73 breakpoint and picking Chantodo WIll with socket - it's single highest dps increase aviable and will be even better with new gem tier. Then Chantodo Force - your one is lacking APoC, so you're probably using Storm Crown to fix APoC and LoH issues and whille suggested Blackthorne parts will fix LoH, new 8+ APoC Chandoto Will should allow you to switch to Mempo (and even cheap no crit Mempo blow Storm Crown in both EHP and DPS vallues by a mile).
Also droping APS to 2.73 you can get rid of lacunis and buy 120+ vit 160+ int 4.5+ cc 60+ allres and armor/phys res for like 15-20 mil that'll once again upgrade your EHP and DPS by a lot. Ofc Lacunis are still a good choice if you are pushing for 24% movement speed, but i avoided MS alltogether with picking teleport as my skill of choice. Also with LoH fixed you can look for a better rings.
After this basic improvements you'll be simply upgrading items to same better items (like int/cc/cd/ias rings/gloves). Unfortunatly we've not much choice as CMWW becouse fixing LoH without Blackthorne is almost impossible since to use best helm (Mempo) we need APoC on both weapon slots, and without chantodo it's almost impossible to even get 2.73 APS with socketed wand, and without socketed wand we loose too much dmg and meanwhille chantodo wand can't roll both socket and LoH and so on.

Tbh i don't think that CMWW dmg is horrible, in fact the more mobs are around the higher dmg comes from shocking aspect rune. Also pick a wormhole teleport and mobility is there too. Only mobs that piss me off are random ranged champion who didn't get blown away with the rest (and A3 keywarden - aka teleporting bitch). With ~450K EHP, 2.75 APS, 140K dps i can take on everything and reliably doing stonefort->tower 1->crater 2->rackis->bridge->depth 1,2 in 30-40 min on mp 8 (mp 9,10 are too much of a bother for 50 mf bonus). Also i like how complex CM builds are with all crosscalculations between CC/Apoc/APM.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
OT: i agree that some builds will be dominating, but having more alternative options for a different gear ceilings/playstyles would be great too. Many won't mind loosing some lvling speed to try something new, but atm if you're not Archon or CMWW you're shooting yourself in the leg. Worth mentioning that we're still better off then monks who almost all go FoT/MoC/SW for mp 6+. Having two viable builds is better then 1.
That being said IMO 30% dmg reduction for melee is outdated mechanics becouse as a monk (rerolled to wiz from monk not far ago) with double LS weapon, 100K dps, ~700 resists, 36K hp i could cruise though MP 8 with holding FoT mouse button and ocasionally poping Serenity/FoL/SSS. With CD reduction passive between blind and double immunity (serenity and SSS animation) mobs had couple sec to harm me before new chain started. Well at least i had to time my immunities against harder affixes (easier once were leftclicked to death) on monk, my barb friend is runing 6% LS (including passive), less defensive stats and roll over MP 8 with dmg and cc immunity alone.
That being said melee classes have easier access to LS (especially barbs with passive, mighty belts, weapons), they've immunities, no-cd mobility moves and meanwhille they still have 30% dmg reduction. That 30% difference is what denies wizards possibility of playing real deal melee spectral blades/arcane dynamo build (although melee options would require way more attention to make them at least semi-viable compared to archon and cm builds).
P.S. The most positive change for me is better EXP scaling with MP, getting 3 times less exp on MP8 then on MP8 didn't feel right.

Actually from what i saw so far only new Lineage (still as development) can outshine D3 in hack&slash genre with aditional features it'll have as MMO. Gameplay looks similar - tons of mobs dieing, flyghting in all directions and stuff. Pretty strange choice from devs since it doesn't resemble previous Lineage games at all. In path of exile only character building feels like fun, whille game dynamic and visual effects are lacking. If they would actually buy a new engine and addapt game to it then it would be hit no doubts, but leading engines (cry, unreal etc.) cost a lot.Posted in: Other Games
But anyway PoE shows how great ideas can't be realised to their full potential without insane cash investments.

Frost nova is nothing to sneeze on in Wizards stunlock build. Actually monk for MoC and wiz for CC are #1 utility classes (dmg is there too tbh), can't really tell what's better becouse both are too good.
