So with every class having a unique set of weapons that only they can use, does anyone think that those weapons will always be best for that particular class? Will they be better (for your particular class) than normal weapons that all characters can use?
I wonder if in the end game, all characters will be using class unique weapons. Hopefully not.
I doubt it. I think it is just some weapons don't fit with all the classes, like the axe and mace which only the barb can use this seems like the way it should be. The other classes unique weapons seem to have the same idea. I would guess other weapon choices would be viable in the end game.
EDIT: actually there are two classes I could see mostly sticking to their class unique weapons only. The witch doctor and a Wizard(assuming the wizard is not attempting to do much meleeing) due to their offhand items and the class specific bonus effects offered by their class specific weapons. Of course it is possible there are other weapons outside of class unique ones that could do that too, but that is just my estimation. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Would that help you at all or not, I don't really know how to compare them.

Truthfully it is awesome to be able to actually play it, however it doesn't calm any desire for release, with only being able to play to the skeleton king I just found myself wishing I could go further and play more.

Is this a guess or has blizzard made any comment on such a thing? that would be awesome.

nah I think late game will me more a mixture. I think the reason the top beta items are all crafted is because of the beta ending at the skeleton king. In the actual game people would not be capped there and by the time they were level 13 would further and picking up more comparable gear I think.

and that is one of them. my point is a substantial percentage are not viable. I am not saying there is not a huge amount of options and builds, I am just making the point that it doesn't matter how many are mathematically possible because only a certain percentage of those are practical and I don't know how that would be calculated.

no see this about how they are categorized, not that we can't go thorugh and select any of them but the fact that the categories of skills don't completely make sense.

I agree with this, after playing with the male demon hunter I thought his movement was a little weird, like he was permanently hunched over. Though I still did like the character overall, I didn't notice the movement after playing a little bit.

From what I gather it is much more intense because everything is gone if your character dies. I think your right that it's only about beating inferno and that magic find would be used a lot less. I think the whole fun of it is the surviving part and that everything is on the line at every moment and that makes it really exciting. I personally will probably play hardcore after a lot of softcore.

I thought that there were hardcore achievements and that the loot around the bottom of your banner thing came from achievements in hardcore.

Probably at least a minimum 6 weeks from the announcement to the release. My guess would be about 8 weeks in between based on what has been said.

Not trying to hate on your idea just trying to be realistic.
