Being afraid of act 1 with that survivability is a joke. And yes, I play hc too.Quote from Rencol25k hp and 300 all res? Just reading that gave me cancer. My WD has 4th highest all res world-wide (http://www.diablopro...rating.stat_res , Mortis) and I cant simply imagine even starting to play inferno with such low survivability, not even act 1, and you are wondering why you are getting one shot by Rakanoth? That rly made my day.

I'm playing with a CM build that uses Storm Chaser instead Wicked Wind (I never tested the Wicked Wind build, so I can't say which one performed better pre patch, but I assume Wicked Wind since it was very popular): http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Anduryondon-2461/hero/15902281 (you can easily switch Hydra for Frost Nova, I'm just playing a little around). Keep in mind that this is HC.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
It works well for me, just mobs like wasps are a little annoying, because they are hard to hit

CM is based on the proc coefficient, that means if you crit with a spell that has a proc coefficient of 1 (or 100%), like magic missile with the charged blast rune, you have a 100% chance to trigger CM. If your spell has only a proc coefficient of 0,15 you have a 15% chance for every crit to trigger CM, so the nerf reduces how often Wicked Wind will trigger Critical Mass.Quote from ForockQuote from AnduryondonProc coefficients do affect critical mass, because with a lower coefficient you get a lower chance to proc critical mass, so it is a nerf to CM.
Please explain this to me. Critical Mass reads: "Critical Hits have a chance to reduce the cooldown of your spells by 1 second". This leads me to assume that Critical Mass procs rely entirely on your crit chance. Is there a hidden relation between Critical Mass, crit chance, and proc coefficients on each time Energy Twister hits?
If there is... please, enlighten me. I'm searching for it now trying to prove myself wrong but can't find anything.
€: PsiStorm beat me to it and added the fact that CM does not always reset the cooldown, which I completely forgot.
