djxt22 I understand you're disappointed with this game and many people are. A lot of people actually enjoy it though. It's true that it doesn't live up to the expectations of a lot of players, me included, but people are different. Just please, don't waste your energy on this.

OT : Man spend as little as possible, learn the game play and see if you really enjoy it. You are para 3, you havent even played basically.Reach para 50 then think about what you're gonna do. You can get a gear set that alows you to do Mp1 with your eyes closed for 10 mil if you know what you're buying. (hell I've done a set that allows you to do that for 1mil, a month ago , so that set is prolly worth ~300k right about now ).
There is trully no sense in spending that large a chuck'o'moneehh on a game that is based on finding gear to sell/to wear.300 is way too much.You are going to get some pieces of gear that in order to upgrade them you would need 2bil+ gold per piece.And most likely you arent going to find so many 2bil stuff to sell.So take it easy and enjoy the ride.

Right cuz I'm the only one that feels that way. You've heard everyone else lovin this game and not said that this game isn't worth $60. Hey I have an Idea, I should make a game that isn't complete and put it up for $60 and see if you buy it cuz that's what blizzard did. And it took them approxamately 8 months for them to say "hey diablo fans we are putting in duel, not pvp, but duel so you can battle each other in the next patch!" Because it takes that long for fans to hear their voice and just implement duel from the get go.

Right so me stating that this game wasn't worth $60 is complaining and saying that doing uber runs repetively is also complaining? Make sense before saying anything. The fact is that games that are similar to this game, again let me say this again, games that are similar as in not exactly the same, aren't that high. PoE and torchlight 2 were games I've played and I've enjoyed playing PoE more than torchlight and diablo 3, yet PoE is free as of now. I'm also stating this so people like inglewood doesn't drop $1000 on a game that its all about pay to win, as in no skills required, as in doesn't take a rocket scientist to just level your paragon levels to 50+ where items drop for you to either use or trade. And not to mention that the fastest way to level up your paragon is doing act 3 runs on MP0-MP2 with mediocre gears. So when I said that the game isn't worth $60 and all you do is run uber bosses plus level paragon, you don't need to drop $1000 for that.

Secondly, WoW has progressive content because it is a subcription based game...unlike CoD & Diablo 3. Do you know why CoD is so small of a game on every release? The graphics and dynamic mechanics put into the game are huge. I agree it's kindy crappy but it's the way it is. Atleast when you buy CoD you know what the game has to offer. I bought Diablo 3 in the hopes for PvP, mainly Team Death match. Ya it sucked that on release Blizzard said PvP wasn't ready. Being a big fan of the Diablo franchise and Blizzard as a whole, I decided to wait. Now Blizzard stated that Team detah match will probably never exist. Fail? False advertising?
Diablo 3 was fun for the first few months, even when you put aside all the nerfs. But the game lacks content, ie: more activites like daily quests or group encounters. This is suppose to be a sequel to the Diablo series.......then why does Diablo 2 have more content? Blind fans calling people haters or whinners but the sad truth is that the list of problems with Diablo 3 keeps getting bigger. I used to be a blind fan but not anymore.

Activision and Blizzard didn't decide to merge. Blizzard's parent company Vivendi bought Activision and then merged it with Blizzard. Vivendi is calling the shots on both of them, while it has been calling the shots for Blizzard for the last 15 years. Where do you get your info from?!
CoD runs the same engine for years with small tweaks added each year for each game. The only truly new things are some textures/models and a few pieces of code. It's a recycle process each year that costs Activision almost nothing and brings in huge profits.
I'm not as disappointed as you are that PvP has not made it yet, though I wont hide that I am indeed at least a bit disappointed, mainly because exactly people like you that wanted it badly didn't get it. It's sad, but it's what it is right now. And I can tell you right now that Team Deathmatch is likely 99% sure to not come. Blizz said themselves they'll be looking at other options. TD just happened to not feel fun for them on the long run. Do I trust them? I don't sadly care enough about the topic to trust them. I've avoided PvP in every game and have no idea how fun team deathmatch could've been. But it's a scrapped project. We'll not be seeing it (likely). If PvP is the only thing that you wanted in Diablo then either start looking around for other games or at least shelve D3 for now and follow the news to see when and how exactly PvP will reemerge.
I don't think the list of problems of Diablo 3 is getting bigger. I think it's getting a lot smaller. What has gotten worse since the game came out? The problems that are still present have indeed been here since launch, but which of them have actually gotten worse?
Also, look at the other point of view. Most people (including me and you) think the game has gotten nerfed. A topic just next to this one, created by a long time Diablo 2 fan, says that the game needs to be nerfed more... ?! Oh, yes, it's opinions.
Daily quests? One of the worst things I've heard for a hack and slash, likely in my entire life. Also, all hack and slash RPGs offer team play, but they _never_ add things that you can't do solo. That's maybe one of the most core features in these types of games. I really don't understand what exactly you're looking for in this game.

This game is dead... Funny how in blizzcon they showed pvp and it's been 7 months and there's nothing. Oh wait a pvp blog, but for duels only? TDM will probably won't be in the game and by the time they decide what to do with PvP, another D3 expansion will be out. Here's the thing, WoW comes out with a new expansion every 2 years, and most likely D3 will come out about the same year WoW expansion comes out like that did this year. Funny thing is that Blizzard is working on another MMO called Titan and supposedly it may come out 2013, but I doubt it. They will probably push the release date to 2014 when expansions start to hit again. I'm not expecting much from Blizzard because they remind me of activision with CoD. If you guys/girls realize that Blizzard just wants money and not care for what fans want, what's the point of supporting them.

Uhhhhh I played my barb in ptr and I do just fine doing acts with MP5. If i have full IK armor, which I'm working on, I'll farm MP10 all day. People that have played WW barb in ptr and cry a lot is because they don't have great gear. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Zekeus-1607/hero/104033
