posted a message on Blizzard on hardcore RMAH: "If there is a demand for it we’ll consider it. "
I think Blizz will realize that HC RMAH will end up being their bread and butter of D3. Obviously at first, everyone will be making normal characters and using the normal RMAH, but after awhile, once everyone maxes out and and has farmed for awhile, the normal AH will be used less and less and people will be experimenting with HC more.

Also, HC will always be creating a demand and item sink. Once a character dies, the items die with him. In normal mode, its only a matter of time before there are 5000 of each item on the AH since everyone has the best in slot all ready. HC will always have a demand for new items.

I also have a "Big Boy Job" and I'll be taking a few days off. Two months time in advance to clear it is not an issue what-so-ever. Gonna fire it up at Midnight and play straight through. No breaks till you at least clear normal mode!

posted a message on DiabloFans Calculator Build Contest (ONE POST ONLY)
    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#WQcRgj!ZdV!ccaZaY

This is my theoretical Monk build for leveling and late game PVE. Its balanced between dps with runed Mantra of Conviction for some passive healing effects. This should be good all around for boss fights as well as killing big packs of mobs.

posted a message on Freedom of Choice Gone? Lack of Freedom in Setting Up Action Bars
I do like the new system of getting rid of the need for more items to upgrade skills. The thought of constantly collecting and upgrading rune stones for your build, and then constantly changing them when you want to switch some skills around seemed like it would be more of a burden then fun, even keeping you from changing in some cases to save yourself the trouble.

However, I'm not sure I like it as a set system where you hit a certain level and you get a specific rune for a skill unlocked. To give it a feel of more customization I think it would be cool if it gave you a certain number of unlocks at a level up, then you get to choose which runes you'd like to unlock for a given skill. Or even get an unlock for certain quest rewards or first time boss kills. Then you could build your character up in the way you wanted and give it a feel of using strategy as you go. Of course they could set it up so that by the time you hit 60 everyone gets enough unlocks to unlock everything, so they could keep with their direction of letting everyone access everything and preventing people from having to re-level a class to get certain skills. Not sure if Blizz would agree with this, but I think it would give it a more fun and old school feel as you played through.

posted a message on Rare and Champion Loot > Boss Loot
While I do like the idea of encouraging people to explore around the zones, nothing seems to beat the idea that the Big Boss should drop the best stuff. That's why they are the Big Boss, and it will always feel more epic to take them down rather than a random named spawn in the corner of some sub-dungeon.

Sticking to true Blizzard form, claiming the announcement will be ready "Early this week" apparently means Wednesday or when the week is more than half over.

posted a message on New D3 beta key giveaway.... @BlizzardCS Twitter Sweepstakes
Seems kind of odd that they need you to tweet at them directly AND use their hashtag AND then email them a link to the tweet itself. Each of those things are easily tracked on twitter itself easily, which makes it seem pretty redundant. Maybe the email to the tweet is supposed to weed out people just massing tweets? Not sure why they would require you to do all 3.

posted a message on New Site Design?
I like this layout alot better. Its alot cleaner and easier to manage. The old layout was kind of clunky and took awhile to load, especially on mobile.

I know its basically a copy of the MMO Champ layout, but that makes sense now that this is owned by curse and run by Boub. I like that it is more streamlined now. I know most people will complain, cause change always does that, but I say good job guys.

Interesting move by blizzard. They're so paranoid about losing subscriptions from their own product, they are their biggest competitor lol. Bit it is a smart move, once the new game thrill of D3 starts to ware off you still have wow sitting there waiting for you, when it otherwise would have been canceled. Gotta hand it to them, they sure know what they are doing.

posted a message on Losing interest...
    Quote from Philss
I lost interest in the beta and thats all fine i got plenty of stuff to do IRL .I did not loose any interest in D3 tough i will go buy it day 1 and play it for years .

Same here, there is a difference between losing interest in the Beta and losing interest in the game itself. Personally the Beta doesnt seem like a big deal anymore since you can watch 1,000 different full playthroughs on YouTube. Would I still like the Beta? Sure. But if I dont get in, meh. Of course when D3 actually does come out I will be first inline to get it, and will probably call out of work for a few days.

posted a message on Entering the Facebook Beta Sweepstakes
For those of you mad that Blizz was using Facebook as a way to giveaway more beta keys, no need to worry. They just release a new FAQ about the contest Here and they state that:

    Official Blizzard Quote:

    Q. Do I need a Facebook account to enter this promotion?
    A. No. While entering with a Facebook account will provide you with some additional benefits, such as sharing if you've won with your friends, you don't need an account to participate. If you'd like to enter, but don’t have a Facebook account (and don't want one), you can click on the "Alternate Method of Entry" link at the bottom of the official rules page: https://apps.facebook.com/diabloiiibetasweeps/contests/159910/rules

I hope this helps people get in that were not originally going to sign up and also calm down those Facebook haters out there. Good Luck!
