they gave 3 months, quarter 2, thats 3 months out of the year... lol

They didn't say it was definitely coming out in Q2, they said they are aiming for Q2 which means at the earliest... so basically it could be out anytime in Q2-Q4 now.


Remember they 'aimed' for a Q4 2011 release and look what happened. Blizzard really can't give a definite answer for anything, seems like a way for them to cover up being unable to keep their word.

You're forgetting that this is a conference call. People will always have unrealistic expectations because a conference call somehow equates to a press conference or something.

When did I say I was wanting an answer in the call or even expected it? I was speaking in general it would be nice to at least know what month the game is aimed for. You are trying to speak for me here.

I had a love/hate for Recount in WoW. I eventually just ended up hating it because I found myself watching the meter the whole time instead of watching my character smash face. It really took the fun out of it for me, I think it would turn cooperative play into competitive play.


In the beta I have really enjoyed being in public games and just face smashing the dead ghouls all over the place with random people; and everyone had a blast. I fear adding a meter would completely ruin that experience as everyone would be focused on numbers and taking a crap on whoever was 1% under them on the meter.


My focus is on making that zombie go splat, not on a colorful bar.

OP, I understand exactly what you are saying about the witch doctor.


It was the only class I really couldn't get into. I tried to run through the beta with the WD but he just seemed to... err I don't know, he just didn't seem to fit, almost like he was some 'goofy' hero. I couldn't take the WD class seriously, it just seemed to 'gimmicky.'

I guess that just goes to show you how disconnected bigger gaming websites are to the actual gaming community. They didn't even have D3 on their radar.


I guess GT just thinks the only people playing games are the console kiddies. I guess that's why I never felt a draw to go to sites like IGN and GT.

Was wondering if anyone had a list or a link to Diablo 2's console commands?

I don't play on battle.net I just play in single player mode. Trying to respec my characters since I've already used my free one.

Anyway, is there a list out there anywhere of the commands?

I doubt it's because they are too busy (as much as they would like us to believe), it's probably because they really wouldn't have much to talk about this year. We'll probably see the Titan announcement in 2013, then we'll get a release on it in about 5 years.

Meh, I don't know... maybe I just haven't noticed since Monk isn't really on my radar. Not my kind of class/playstyle.
