Monk's Spunk has been reduced to 150 spirit... You can't even do 2 x Inner Sanctuaries (80 spirit) lol... how stupid
Not even in the patch notes either...
Also the DH is I think worse, at the start I could hardly kill stuff and was actually being forced back... Using the strongest bow / xbox I could find...
Something needs to be done cause it wasn't fun... Now the Barb breezed through and that was fun.

PvP is always the only end game unless you're playing WoW where they make more bosses and acheivements.
Complete and utter BS, people still play Diablo 2 till this day and mainly for the PvE aspect...
There has never been any TRUE PvP in any Diablo games yet. There has only been simple basic junk where you can hostile other players and PK / fight them, but not in a true PvP experience...
I think getting all classes to 60, all with awesome gear ontop of getting all 3 artisans to lvl 10, getting runes and gems upgraded.... That's alot of gaming right there... -
Oct 12, 2011Soul posted a message on Diablo III Beta Key SweepstakesI'm totally disappointed by blizzard by doing this rather than continuing the opt-in process(they could still be continuing it, we just don't know)...Posted in: News
This sweepstakes promotion DOES NOT include everyone, whereas the opt-in process DOES.
I can understand why they did a sweepstakes so some lucky people can get 2 keys, but why not make it that 1000 lucky people get 2 keys, and then invite another 1000 via the opt-in process?
Or perhaps this is why not a lot of opt-ins have been invited? Who knows!! lol -
Oct 7, 2011Soul posted a message on D2 Ladder Reset: Season 9Lol, i'm honestly very disappointed I was hoping they wouldn't reset it so I could actually do a push for lvl 99, but alas It won't happen. Going from 98 - 99 in D2 nowdays is just freaking crazy if you do it like me...Posted in: News
100% legit, no hacks / bots or w/e
I am very curious as to why it was delayed perhaps we'll know at blizzcon or something... -
May 15, 2011Soul posted a message on The Follower BluesPosted in: NewsQuote from Lenks
OK they want from us to play co-op, ok fine... But why are they made Followers to be useful only in Normal, that's the thing that doesn't make sense to me...
Not only that but... It's only Single player also...
Follower system that only works for Single player and only works in Normal. To try to promote co-op play from the people that only play single player. -
Sep 11, 2009Soul posted a message on Why Blizzard Could Soon Return to Game Consoles.Posted in: NewsQuote from "kanzaki_urumi" »The day Blizzard goes console I'm out.
Console sucks compared to PC, don't make that mistake !
I agree, I may buy another box in the future just to hook up to my 37" lcd with wireless mouse + keyboard and play games from my bed hehe.
But, if you want to play on a big screen or TV you can do that now... If you think your poor, well Blizz tries to cater for older systems and even basic ones can run their games easily, this laptop with 1 gig ram, 128mb vid can run wow 12-20 fps on low settings( yea sucks, but it still runs)
On my gaming box which i paid $1,500 AUD for custom built, runs wow at a smooth 50-100 fps on max settings.
I also don't like the sound of "dumbed down" pc games so the console version doesn't look really bad. I have played D1 on the PS1 years and years and years ago, it wasn't too bad but it didn't really feel like diablo to me.
Blizz is making Diablo 3 to be FAST PACED, I believe playing on a console will slow you down alot. I believe Blizzard should make a stand alone game, just like they were doing with Starcraft: Ghost, perhaps they are redoing it ^^ who knows what they are thinking. But they will be doing something with consoles in the future, I hope it has nothing to do with D3 or SC2. -
May 13, 2009Soul posted a message on Patch 1.13: Larger Inventory for Diablo III think all you guys are missing the point, Blizz has released 2 breadcrumbs and maybe a 3rd... lets see...Posted in: News
1) Bigger stash then the extra bit u all missed
2) Since the stash is bigger this means it will cover more screen space, which means you need higher resolution, since you need to have your inventory open to move things into it, right?
3) This one is a maybe since it is also based off my #2 answer about higher resolution. Since the resolution is increased, the room on screen for the inventory is also larger, perhaps increased inventory too.
Or if not a higher resolution, everything is abit smaller, i don't know.
These are just my thoughts... What do you guys think? -

both due to school and other obligations, and also in hopes that it was a substantial patch.
oh well hope its good
i'll be there (though not very much till june 18th)
Hey blood doll, long time no see, i don't know if you remember me so i'll just say, i'm the infamous LagSpike(Uswest HCL) from long ago, the one that didn't make 99 :(:(:(
I will be checking to see if this patch has anything to offer since WoW for me is dead atm.
Looking forward to seeing old faces in d2 chat rooms again, hope to see yours if u decided to play again.

Apr 14, 2009Soul posted a message on Fan-made Warcraft 3 / Diablo 3 game. Diablocraft III?I found there was a problem sustaining mana with the wizard, the mana regen was just way too slow, which slowed down game play, once the mana regen is upped it shouldnt be a problem, it was really slow even with 5/5 regen(250% mana regen)Posted in: News
All and all 4/5 for the wizard class( going to be playing the others soon)
really well done map imo -
Mar 29, 2009Soul posted a message on Blizzard and Microsoft Xbox?Just a quick note, whats the point of a console anyway?Posted in: News
Is it just the fact you can play it on a big TV? You can do that with PC's too...
Whats this attachment to consoles, since they basically are miniture computers...
These consoles use different controls, which are different to PC's, and PC's use different controls to a Console.
What are your guys thoughts on consoles in general?
I would like D3 to stay on PC since the previous games have been, and if Blizz decides to make a game for the console, have it as a new IP or something. -
Jul 1, 2008Soul posted a message on Diablo 3 Items and InventoryPosted in: NewsQuote from "Medievaldragon" »
INVENTORY
Blizzard said they have plans for making the inventory much better.
In the video we can see room for 30 items. It seems each item will have it's own reserved space with no size variations, similar to the bag system of World of Warcraft. The Barbarian, however, has only 12 item spaces "active" or "available", other 18 being "greyed out". This means characters in D3 will be able to carry variable sizes of bags. If you look at the bottom of the inventory space, there are 4 greyed out slots for bags, similar to World of Warcraft. The icon for these bags is the same as the main inventory screen icon.
This bit worries me, i don't want a bag system like WoW for a Diablo game, it makes it look and feel too much like WoW. But if it has to be then i it has to be.
The grayed out bags reminded me of WoW instantly, and gave me a face
Need more originality for the inventory
But looks good, thanks for the info MD -

Indeed www.diablo3.com is now showing up as

Firefox can't find the server at www.diablo3.com.

When Blizzard announced a D2 Ladder Reset, i said patch was comming, and it did.
Just watch out for any changes to where that page links hehe -
May 15, 2008Soul posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedPosted in: NewsQuote from "Magistrate" »Careful what you say- people have a wonderful tendency of dumbing down your argument and sticking a few "lolz" in, and then saying you're a moron. Not that I'm saying that, because I'm not, but that's generally what happens, it seems, when someone doesn't agree. Except for Goodguy, who actually gave facts to support his side of the argument.
True, but what about all the people recently affected by natural disasters...
THEY HAVE HOPE!!!
Honestly its like goodguy isn't human
And IF, something is announced at the WWI in Paris, then i WILL be expecting a demo at Blizzcon
Just making that point clear...
43 days 35 minutes to go until Blizzard's World Wide Invitational -
May 15, 2008Soul posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedPosted in: NewsQuote from "Magistrate" »Eh, well, I don't personally buy stuff off the net, so I'm not really up to date on these things (stuff in general, not just talking about game items.) Yeah, the bots pretty much ruined the leveling aspect. Being able to buy items right after a ladder reset, however, ruins the "everyone starting off equal" thing.
Well, the whole ladder reset was a complete and utter joke...
WHY reset the fing ladder with no fixes to bugs / dupes / bots / hackers...
THERE IS NO FING POINT... and just look what happened, even more people quit, its a damn wasteland now.
Back to Blizzcon, i think this is the year, too many things regarding "Diablo", its "release dates" and ownership changes of domain names eg "www.diablo3.com"
After the WWI in Korea, Blizz showed off SC2 @ Blizzcon later that year. If something is announced at the WWI in Paris, then i will be expecting a detailed demo at Blizzcon in October. -
May 13, 2008Soul posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedPosted in: NewsQuote from "blackcanopus" »Interesting. Very interesting. Those Blizz guys have a new secret in their website. Go to this address:
http://www.blizzard.com/us/press/080512.html
Look at the header image above the main text, under the menu. What do you see?
From left to right you can see:
1.An orc
2.A guy
3.A white figure
4.Marine
5.Smoke
Now save the page with FireFox (Web-page, Complete). Go to "080512_files" directory. Take a look at "inblizz-header.jpg"...OH MY GOD! What do you see now?
6.A guy with a staff
7.A robot
Blizz guys...they always want to tease us. And all that I can say is...I LOVE YA. Rock on. Am I wrong, or what?
P.S. Here is the image.
Nice nice, the second guy is THE WANDERER!!! from D2 i believe, he looks like that in the Cinematics...

In all seriousness, Delete all Beta content, including the battle.net folder(blue post on this so look for it). The downloaders for the different languages / regions are available somewhere. The beta is beta, the release client has to be downloaded again.
No way around it, you need to DL again as the beta is completely different to the release version of the game.

I think everyone else needs to calm the F down... As blues have said it's like winning the Lotto, we have been told 2 million people were in the beta. So that's 2 million accounts that won the D3 Sigil/FoS Lottery.
Do you all seriously bi%$h and moan / carry on if you guys don't win the RL lottery? If you do WTF are you able to do about it.... nothing you brought the ticket to get a chance to get in(opt in process), then during the beta there were lots of beta key giveaways(more chance) and then the numbers were drawn...Everyone else lost...
Suck it up and move on, no one was entitled to anything... Let me repeat that... NO ONE WAS ENTITLED TO THIS.
It is purely cosmetic for people that got in to the Closed D3 Beta. /thread

I also don't think I would of been given more than 1 week off... If I decide D3 is absolutely amazing I may have to find another job

The bolded parts are 100% true, if you don't want the story spoiled then i suggest come may 14th you quit browsing the internet until you've played the game yourself. If I have time I will be talking about it and I SHOULD NOT have to use spoiler tags (its nice if I do and I usually do that) BUT... yes there is always a BUT!
Come release it is going to be ALL OVER THE INTERNET! No one can stop it, it is what it is. Take responsibility for protecting what you want to find out for yourself and not rely on others to do it for you, as they also SHOULD NOT have to...

D2 MF was garbage, having the same loot drop and having 8 people(if they are in the same area) try and grab it before you was really annoying in public games. Now when stuff dies you don't need to get the "KILLING BLOW" because MF and GF are shared and we all have our own individual drops.
TBH if you are that selfish of a person then just group with other people with high MF or play with your friends... Stop trying to have the game changed cause you're a loot wh%$e who doesn't want to share...

Your Battle.net account should look something like that.
