posted a message on News Staff Reviews and Other Thoughts
I agree with reviews, I agree with the staff amount. With three it seems almost impossible to even keep them all active, I agree with the Necronergal part.

As for interviews, the way I did mine was sort of just Q&A, which I personally think is the best way. Interviews should be to the point. It's annoying at least for me, to read a interview and have to wade through side commentary etc to get to the actual answers.

posted a message on Wiki Icons Revisited
They aren't that bad, the only problem I have with them is I think they should all link to the same page. DiabloWiki.com - This should all link to one single thing icon and all. This should all link to one single thing icon and all.

And I see Sixen fixed that, so no they don't bother me one bit, I hardly doubt someone interested in the interview saw the wiki links and said "FUCK THIS SHIT!" and threw their computer out the window. :P

I just don't think it's ever stopped anyone from reading something they wanted.

It serves a purpose in a way that it reminds people about the wiki, which we need people reminded. We need help there right now. Today I had to do some minor articles on easy stuff, like Zayl, Seram, Achilios, Serenthia, The Chat Gem. We should have that stuff.

That's the same giant creature in the background isn't it?

Looks like Zeratul is trying to stop Kerrigan.

posted a message on What Would Make PvP Better?
To me being hunted down and PK'd repeatedly by someone who has nothing better to do doesn't say "terror", it says self esteem issues projecting onto a online game.

    That's just my opinion though.

posted a message on My Resignation
    Long Road's End
What fires burn within my heart and force me to contend
With the perils that await me at this tragic journeys end?

I have walked the roads that lead to Hell, I have challenged all but Fate.
I have fought and bled and carried on just to reach this final gate.
    And now the task before me looms, this dire deed undone;
I shall make my stand against the Three until the battles won.

What fear or wound could ever still this last defiant cry.
As I stand against the Shadow neath the endless burning sky?

    - C. Vincent Metzen

This feels like it's been a long time coming, but I've finally decided to stop loitering around and take action.

Things used to be different. Action, quick decisions and good judgment were needed on nearly a daily basis. This is not the case anymore, things are calm, quiet and running smoothly. I've never been the news sort of guy, I've always been good at talking with members and staff and solving problems.

This seems to be a new era of peace though on the forums, which is a good thing absolutely. The battles are long over and this old war dog doesn't know any other tricks. Most of the rule violations nowadays, which are few and far between, are handled quickly and are over with.

In short, I believe the main reason I was made an administrator was to collaborate with the few current active admins at the time (Jetrall and Zoltrix) and make quick decisions on the problems we had.

I'll always feel the duty and pride of wanting to protect these forums, but in this time of tranquil discussion I'm unsure of where my place is. I'm glad to see the forums seem to be going in a better direction, we have more attentive leaders finally and things are looking up.

It's been a good ride everyone, and if the forums become increasingly busy again, bringing more rule violations and problems that need to be fixed, I'll gladly come back to once again vigilantly defend Diablofans as an admin OR a mod. For now though, I'll be happy just becoming a normal member again.

I'll hang around until Friday, after that I will demote myself to normal member status.

    Sincerely,
    Daemaro

posted a message on Bestiary Update: The Fallen Ones
These models aren't made to be viewed right up next to them. In game you'll never notice/see the idle movement probably enough to see a dagger going through the sword.

There is also 2 more fallen not revealed. Did anyone else notice the male wizard in the one screen shot? :D
