Yep been happening for me too, although I wouldn't say it's common, but I'll see it a handful of times in any given run. Also started playing my level 2 wizard, and noticed that it was happening with her as well, on normal mp0.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

I have a few extra dota 2 keys to give away and everyone on my friends list already has the game, or has a mac which is not yet supported.Posted in: Other Games
I figured rather then let them go to waste I'd give them away to people who wanted to try out the game early. If you're interested you can just PM me. I think I can either email the key to you or if I add you to steam I can do it through there. Keys go to the first people to message me, I'm pretty sure I have 3 of them.
Edit: Sorry guys all gone, apparently it's much easier to do this over at reddit. If anyone is still interested head to r/sharedota2 and you might get one.

No, I'm assuming it has 220dex and then some other stat. What happened was that you got your initial dex roll between 170-200, and then got an additional dex/stat roll as one of your random 4 properties.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

It's your build. Try something more offensive. Like I said to OP, you aren't failing because you aren't tough, you're failing because your damage output isn't high enough.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
You guys both do more damage than me, and with my build I absolutely destroy A3, honestly it's your build. Also your resist all is very low.

To be completely honest with you your stats are all fine, you might be able to use more life on hit, but it would be hard to find a weapon with dps like the one you have and also more life on hit. I feel like the main problem is actually in part your build, its far to defensive without any damage output.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
With your current gear set up I would recommend swapping leap for Battle Rage - Into the Fray, and Ignore Pain for Seismic Slam - Rumble. You'll get tons of rage from into the fray, and with it you can just chain spam seismic slam and keeps most of your enemies at bay, when you encounter an elite pack just pop Wrath and you'll chain slam most packs to death.
That's me, you can tell I'm not much bigger than you, more life on hit and slightly more resist all, but I've been considering losing some life on hit for more crit dmg via my weapon socket, so I don't think life on hit is really the issue.
So what it comes down to is your build and the way you play it. As I already said I feel like you're just being far to defensive, but in reality the reason you're dying isn't because you aren't tough enough, it's because you aren't killing them fast enough and are taking to many hits. So I'd try out a few different builds, the one I'm using should work well, since enemies can't hit you with all the knockback you pump out, or alternatively you could try a WW build, but I find those builds are better suited to dual wielding.
Note: I personally use weapon master for the extra crit, but it might actually be very good if you go with a seismic slam build - more slams. I also absolutely destroy act 3 inferno, which means you can too, you do more dmg than me.. =D

Doesn't break anything. Is (moderately) useful because it gives a good understanding of what our mathematical system is and how it functions, I would say it is important for new students who are taking mathematical theory in University to understand this very point, as it's one of the simplest and easiest to prove math facts that is almost unbelievable but fundamentally true. In math when we talk about infinitesimal we are literally talking about a value which is indistinguishable from 0. (Note that for the same reason 0.000...1 is effectively 0.)Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
In fact integration is the act of summing an infinite number of infinitely small objects. Sometimes it's just plain elegant how this stuff actually works.

Meh 350+ hours between a barb and a demon hunter, and I still plan to play both of them as well as leveling at least the other 3 characters to 60. Still enjoying the game quite a bit, and I don't use the RMAH at all. It's fun to just run around and kill things, whether it be stuff I can handle easily (act2 inferno on my barb) or trying to do harder stuff like act 3 in groups with some of my friends.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Still having fun, still earning new and better gear. If you're bored with it then that's cool and I can respect that, but I see no reason to force your opinion on other people and then insult them when they don't agree, saying nonsense such as 'I'm lying to myself because I enjoy it'. That doesn't even make sense.

I didn't farm normal, nightmare or hell. Just act 1 inferno for a bit for gold to get a good enough weapon for my DH to move into act 2 inferno. You shouldn't need to gear up to complete nightmare and hell, if you are struggling in nightmare than you probably don't have a good skill set up.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote from ImpalaMight be, but the drop quality is significantly better. Before I decided to do this research, 2 60 Legendaries and 1 Set Item dropped on this spot. Highest DPS seen on a weapon seen so far: 961 DPS.
Damn.. I'm still using a 760 dps blue with a socket for +life on hit. I'm not really getting the greatest drops in A1, just the occasional resist all with decent stats when I'm lucky. Another problem is I just can't progress A2 at all with my barb, and it's a serious grind on my DH.. maybe it is worth it if the items are that much better. Oh it got nerfed ... so much for that.

With 200% MF I make 15+ rares an hour doing pudge (butcher) runs, mostly because the idea of joining and leaving a game every 2 minutes is overly boring for me (I'd rather not play than do that).Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
So for anyone who's thinking "wow this is actually the only way to get loot?" .. no .. farming pudge is great, and doesn't make you want to kill yourself, since the average run takes 45 minutes to an hour you aren't spending half your time in loading screens, plus you actually get to play the game.
Although I'd be curious as to how often you get ilvl 62 gear, since I do not believe it's possible to get that gear right now in A1.
A little more on topic: Nice data! I'm always curious to see how the loot tables play out for the different goblin types, some good science going on here.
