Sep 12, 2011chud123 posted a message on Official Diablo III Site Gets UpdatedIs this a comprehensive list of the skills? I ask because the barbarian has a lot more passive skill than all the other heros (and I was hoping for more passives for the WD).Posted in: News

Sep 1, 2011chud123 posted a message on ActivisionBlizzard WebCast Analyst DayI have a problem that the information provided by Blizzard, before today, led people to believe that they wouldn't make a percentage. That being said the percentage fee will likely be low as to discourage third party sites. Why use a third party site if the fee is around 10 percent? Also the cash out option only discourages people farming gear for real money (Chinese farms and younger kids mostly) which makes me glad. I would prefer that people didn't farm gear in the game (for money) because it will stagnate the item economy faster.Posted in: News

Aug 21, 2011chud123 posted a message on DiabloCast: Episode XXII - Be Your Own DemonI think it would be cool to have a mode similar to the previously mentioned bounty hunter mode but instead of getting a quest to kill this bad group of monsters you can randomly fall deeper into the depths of hell (whenever you are playing inferno) and have a special randomized challenge.Posted in: News
This challenge could be be from a list of many things including but defiantly not limited to:
Survive X minutes while waves of monsters come at you with increasing in difficulty
Kill one real hard boss with random abilities/attributes
Complete some sort of mental puzzle combined with killing monsters like outsmarting the devil then killing him (the challenge would need to be difficult and have a degree of randomness so that prior experience may help make the challenge easier but wouldn't make it stupid (like the Shroud in DDO))
Kill your way out of a hole while lava flows behind you and if you can't kill your way out fast enough you die to the lava (if you try to run through you die to the monsters)
Monster trap: you have this real hard monster that you have to trap but not kill
The falling deeper in hell could be something that you select/deselect before creating an inferno game. Successful completion of the random task could offer loot. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I would like to see 64 person battles like in FPS's and WoW. I would also like to see the last man standing along with the current arena system.
Do you wish that you could hostile people in D3 or at least have that be an option while creating a game?

I wish they didn't have an auction house at all because trading made a cooler economy in my opinion. Trading allows one item to have a wide range of percieved value whereas an auction house tends to narrow this range (this is the case in WoW but maybe only because the huge ammount of similar items). I know there will still be trading but I don't know how it will be affected by the AH.
I remember buying an eth breth of the dying axe for 5 high runes and selling it for 13. I also remeber buying low CTA's for two HRs and selling them for 4.

When you are in a party are items/gold randomly divided among the team members or is it like D2 where the first one to click it gets it? Or is it like WoW where there will need/greed rolls for "good" items?
Also can you put runestones in passive skills?
