posted a message on Why RMAH buyers bother you ?
I don't mind the RMAH but I do have one concern.

IMO, the best part of D2 was the coop. I could always get in with a group of talented gamers and we would work our way to defeating the Lord of Destruction. The one thing I noticed however, was how generous people were. I was always surprised at how often someone in my group (people I didn't know) would ask if a needed a better piece of gear or if I needed helped lvling my character up, and they would help me out for no reason at all.

Fast forward to D3, if a person has an item that is good but their hero cannot use it, they are going to be less likely to give it away. Why? Because there is a very convenient way to turn that item into real money. I know that D2 had its 3rd part sites for selling (and ebay for that matter), but it was a pain to go though the process to sell something that could be worth as little as $5 and then have to set up a time to trade it in game. Now, in D3, you can just throw it up there and have an extra 5 bucks in your wallet.

My only fear is that, when playing with a group of avid fans, the level of camaraderie will be lost because less people are going to selflessly give away decent gear and help others out. I hope not. In D2 I really felt like I was part of a team.

posted a message on My Diableard
I finally broke down and took a razor to the beard that I have been growing since the Diableard challenge(It started getting to rugged for work). Before it was gone forever, I added a little Diablo III touch to the demonic growth on my face. I thought you all would appreciate it.

posted a message on An interesting idea to fix skill swapping
I think that it should vary based on what difficulty you are on. If you are playing in Normal, you should be able to swap freely. Not only are you learning about the class and may want to try different skills combinations, but you are constantly leveling up and unlocking new skills. You should not have to go to town to try out a skill you just unlocked. Not to mention, you do not spend much time playing Normal anyway. Who cares if your not locked into a build on Normal, its only Normal.

By the time you get to Hell or Inferno, there is no reason to freely swap. Not only do you know the class inside and out, but all skills have been unlocked and you've had time to test them out. When in Hell or Inferno, you should have a locked build and you should have to go to town to switch skills. This forces you to make a decision and commit to a build.

    What do you think?
