What I'd find interesting would be a practical approach to "we've not added RMAH to make money, but because players wanted it". Something among the lines "Every profit made from the RMAH will be given to charity (be it in the States or in countries where people actually starve) because we didn't add that feature to make more money."
Not likely, but it would be commendable nonetheless.
Definately will not happen, I'm still extremely curious to find out what the nominal price will be. I'm assuming most of the money will be put into the system then traded around with the free postings.
As far as a donation a % of initial box sales would probably be more practical. IE: Box sales from Release -> 2 months after release. Or if a 5$ donation was made by blizzard for every box sold.
Thats why I'm playing a WD. Seriously though. Thats pretty fucked up how little creativity that set has. It mimics so much from wow sets. They could at least TRY to do something different. Damn.
I for one am playing a Monk when D3 releases. I'm curious if they've taken things that we've (fans) have said about such things into context or if the gear in game drasticly looks different on a model then what we're seeing (I hope so). Otherwise I'm going to be a SAD panda.
If you thing that it is good ... well you're wrong
All patches point was solving balance problems and bugs
i don't think blizz will provide content patch before the expansion for Diablo 3, so patches = not so much work was put in testing = lazy developer.
I'm going to politely disagree. I am expecting much more content patches and things like such from Blizzard. I think thats partially why they are gearing the game the way they are. I'm very excited to see how they'll do this with how inferno is set up. If they increase level cap does inferno change with it? I'd assume so because a 5th difficulty would be well, too much.
The problems they run in to are also obvious with the RMAH existing etc, will top gear remain top gear for long? If so, how long? There are a ton of issues with content patches. However, I expect and hope that content patches do occur.
Good discussion, curious to see where this one goes. What I'm expecting MFing to be is more of a kill monsters in a specified place and yes kill bosses but the killing to get to the boss is necessary as I'm about 100% sure you won't be able to just spam teleport like in D2.
I like the 24 hour cooling period tbh. This keeps people from flooding the market / trying to control it. IE: Buying mass items with gold and relisting them in the RMAH for much much more. Gold would lose worth as money gains more...IE: Gold would be worth less $.
