Personally, I think loot duels should be more of a decision based before the match that both players agree to. As far as XP gain, I think it's a bad idea, most people who make duelers make multiple "levels" of duelers and you would completely kill low level dueling which in my opinion, is the most fun dueling and luckily the cheapest.
LLD was just as expensive as HLD. Getting an awesome item was just as rare.
Also, OP has one of the worst ideas I have ever seen. I am glad the fans do not make the games.

If there is pvp that would make the beta 1000x more fun. Without it I would play probably only 15 hours. There is only so many times you can kill the skeleton king without him getting any harder

Do they exist in 3D yet? Would 3D even benefit from high res?
Where can I get a good one? Most I've seen have been $1000+! Are they available for a lot cheaper elsewhere? Are they relatively new and going to go down in price soon?

It doesn't look great. Looks on par with other crap games like "titan quest" and "torchlight"...
Also. Ripoff? An ARPG is an ARPG... A FPS is a FPS. Genres are classifications of games that are VERY SIMILAR.
Within the genre even it looks pretty unique, especially the skill system.

You must be a simpleton. It takes almost zero time to figure out how to use a skill most effectively
Diablo will be super fun for the first 6 months but after that most of the hardcore D2 crowd will move onto something else.
Modern gaming is designed for a more and more simplistic crowd. Not too cool. Sometimes I feel like wrecking my brain so I can be a dummy too

Didn't really want a discussion, wanted someone to post on D3 forums to get an answer from Bashiok.
Using a level 30 item was sometimes optimal and the best choice for a D2 build. In D3 so far it seems like people will just equip the highest "item level" piece of loot and decisions are thrown out the window.
Please someone copy-paste to D3 forums.
Either way I'm going to line up at midnight for my preorder. If there is no customization/decision making this game will gather dust in 6 months after release though.
