posted a message on Announcing the DiabloFans "Site Update" Beta, Diablo 3 For PS3 and Xbox 360 Giveaway
I chose local 4 player co-op, because diablo on the PS3 seems like a fun sit down party game with a couple of buds, kinda like gauntlet legends was back in the day.

    D3 for PS3, thanks!

    Good luck to everyone

    Quote from Riar

I hope Blizzard now realise case-sensitive passwords is a must.

They're not because I'd be willing to bet 90% of all the account compromises are from keyloggers, thus it doesn't matter if they passwords are case sensitive, the hacker has the exact password, he doesn't have to guess. Case sensitive passwords are pretty much a placebo in this case and mainly protect against brute forcing which is totally not feasible for hackers of Blizzard games. They want to be efficient, they get in, strip everything, and get out as soon as possible. An account would have to be super valuable for them to waste their time trying to target it and brute force it specifically, and most aren't. There are apparently plenty of people falling for phishing scams and the like to fill their pockets with cash.

posted a message on May 15th, good or bad timing for you?
Pretty bad timing, may 15th is smack dab in the middle of the term, where all the work starts getting really rough and im taking 18 credits. Im gonna have to wait till thursday night to start playing so i dont murder my grades.

My new college term starts I week prior to release and I had 5 months off previously...

You guys decide if that sucks or not :(

Thats not too bad, the first week of the term is always super easy.

I always felt it was the spirit of diablo to keep items viable even after expansions, instead of restricting us to a tiny pool after each expansion (a la WoW and many other MMOS) keep older items viable but add newer items as well. Basically I would like it if they avoided BiS type of stuff.

posted a message on How long will you play straight on release night?
Not playing on release day cause the game comes out on a tuesday and I have school. :(

However I plan to go to my friends out tuesday night and have all 3 of us play until we beat normal.

posted a message on Now that we have a date it's time to predict sales!
    Quote from Stabsey

25 million by the end of the year and almost as good in 2013. Will hit 50 million copies sold at some point around the middle of this decade and will make Blizzard more money that WoW did.

Dude, starcraft 1 has sold 11 million since its release as of 2009. I love diablo 3 but theres no way its gonna hit 25 million.

As for my prediction, 3 million the first day
6 million by the first week
    8-9 million by the year.

    We have a winner folks.

And to the people who are implying that IQ tests are a good measure of intelligence and that intelligence is a good measure of maturity, really?

Know whats a sign of intelligence? Humor, and being able to relax and stop taking everything so seriously. If you're so emotionally invested in this game that you have to insult a bunch of people trolling/fooling around then its time to take a step back.

So you just said, 2+2 =/=5, but 6!
No, I didn't at all. Not sure where you got that from.

Intelligence and maturity usually go hand and hand actually. Sure there are some outliers, but for the most part that trend seems to hold. I know our terrible education system has told you all that you are special, and very smart, but they lied.
Correlation does not imply causation. Theres a big difference between saying "intelligent people tend to be mature" and "having high intelligence means your mature". You can be very smart and be immature and vise versa. Im sure everyone would love to think being smart automatically makes you mature but it doesnt.

Also IQ tests are simply a measure of your ability to do IQ tests. Intelligence is complex and hard to measure, especially on a generalized scale.

Watch this and learn, start at about 2:50.
Nice video, but its only related to your own tangent.

The irony of it all is the amount of immaturity in this thread. Stereotyping, aggressive discussing and complete irrational thoughts. Here we are claiming to be above these 'indept socially retarded' people but forget about the time when we were 'younger'. If you have never talked or acted in a retarded way for shit and giggles, the chances are you are actually the so called 'basement virgin'. I see no direct link to talking bullshit on some game on the internet, versus getting laid irl.

I for one, do not actually see a direct problem with that behaviour as i will just ignore it and move on. Letting yourself be trolled/affected by this is prolly the most stupid thing you should let them do. Shows how 'mature' you actually handle situations.

    Quote from Benegesserit

I liked having all my skills accessible from one window. Not a fan of having to click through multiple windows for each skill I want to add.

Aye, this is my only complaint. I like the skill runes and the ack of talen trees.
