It seems interesting and different when it was indeed a "temple" not just a pillar. Very different indeed.
But then they go "too complicated, needs to be redone slightly" and they leave just 1 pillar. Which kinda destroys the point. It's almost as if the Monk is an architect and is proud by the pillars he can create and then detonate to his liking.
I admit there could've been something better in its place.

Enkeria, it's almost as if you don't actually listen to what they're saying and simply saw a rainbow in a muted video and went "WAS I THE ONLY ONE THAT SAW THAT?!"Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Really. Nothing special. Blizzard humor.

I'm going to ask something here just to clarify.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
I don't remember exactly but it seemed to me that during one of the D3 panels or in the interview with J by Sixen and Force... someone mentioned that during the expansion they won't be introducing new acts? Did anyone hear that as well? I can't find it anywhere right now. Hopefully I've heard wrong. I'm pretty sure I did. But just to be sure. :]

I can almost imagine how it went. He made an orc, he saw the ugly desert starting zone, saw that the quests were "kill x mobs" and died at scorpion "boss" quest.

To answer some questions asked earlier: Belial is in the second act, in the city of Caldeum. That's why he's the second boss.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
The Siege Breaker has been said by Blizzard to be a mini-boss. Much like Leoric.
I also suspect the Act 1 boss to be the Maiden.

Well I'll already be playing the digital version. Hopefully of course when I add the CE key there's a simple and small transition and I get all my CE items when I reenter the game. But it's still a curious topic.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

The real question now is: if I download the digital version and install it because I'm too impatient to wait for my CE to get here 12 hours later... would that cause an issue?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

Sure, although I suspect it's gonna be something more like the entire Act I in normal difficulty? Just to get a feel about the game.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Sounds about right. SC2 is multiplayer oriented, so 20 hours of games to check the game out. WoW is about leveling and questing at the start and you can get to level 20, try the professions, get a slow mount and such. So I think D3 Act I Normal is a sufficient tease to lure new people in.

Icefrog didn't make DotA but let's not get into this right now. I'll just mention Aeons of Strife.Posted in: Other Games
If you wanted to know what Blizz plans to make BDotA stand out then just watch the video from the SC2 Mods and DotA panel at this year's Blizzcon. Towers will have much less health and they will run out of ammunition which slowly regenerates when the tower is inactive. Heroes have mounts. You can hire neutral creatures to join your waves. And much more. Just check out the video.
DotA starts at around 26:00
