Seems like the perfect balance is getting as much MF as you can while having no problems mowing through mobs. If you start having any probs then you sac some MF for combat stats.
Personally I don't care in a pub game if I'm not wearing much MF and the other 2-3 are fully MF geared. I really doubt we'll be losing to bosses and uniques by just a hair that could have been solved by not stacking MF. It's more likely going to be reliant on skill. If the other players are all skilled and we just barely lose to a boss...I'm sure since they have skill they'll use their brain and swap in a few combat gears.
Bad players (if I'm not in the mood to help newbies) will get booted anyway, regardless of gear.
I still do not agree with their policies on telling us when the F... we should be checking our Battle.net accounts.

You should never have to check your email to find out if you are in the beta. You'll never see a "fake" D3 beta box on your account (though that would be one epic troll by Blizzard).
Yeah, we got invited, but we did not receive the beta. That feeling is much worse than getting nothing at all.
It feels unfair, since no one else seems to have this problem. All the diablofans admins/moderators seem to have access to the beta right now.
ummm you dont need to respond to emails... the emails are sent out ONLY to let you know you're already in. It was fake.
No it wasn't. I am talking about the email that was sent out a month ago by bashiok to all the press sites and such, including diablofans. I was not a fake.

Me and two of my friends were suppost to get the beta.
I did not respond to the email before the deadline though, so I didn't get it.
HOWEVER, both of my friends responded in time, yet only one of them received the beta.
I am insanely confused right now.
I mean, the mails were confirmed to be legit, and only 1 got the actual beta. We're all from Europe.
My friend tried to contact the support but they just responded with the generic mail telling us that it looks like it was a fake, even though we know it wasn't.
Blizzard is really screwing around. First they add a ridiculous deadline, then they do not even give the beta to the people who actually respond in time.
You're not in any position to determine if a Blizzard email is legit. Only Blizzard is. Ignore all emails talking about a beta. Always. If you got in the beta you do absolutely NOTHING related to emails. All you EVER have to do is keep checking your BNet account for the D3 Beta box. If you ever get asked to click or do ANYTHING to get in a beta from an email, you are WRONG and it is FAKE. Thanks for helping the scammers make Blizzard's life more miserable.
Blizzard explained forever ago the proper way to check for beta invites.
Kind of old news, unfortunately barley any went out to the public.
How do you know that ? Maybe they are not people who stalk the forums all the time and just want to play the game.
For every 10 people who get into the beta at least 1 will be either a forum goer, or will want to go post on official boards to brag. Remember there is a pretty long download time, someone is going to post. The law of numbers tells us a small number of 'normal' people got in.
Edit: If 1000 people got in we would absolutely know about it.
To be fair all 10 of those people could not be part of that other 10% you mentioned. And then the next 2 people could be. 10 is too small of a data set. Even if 99.9% of people didn't forum post they could invite 1000 opt-ins and it's still possible none of them would post. Either way we have seen zero proof that any opt-ins are in the game so I'm sticking with exactly ZERO until we at least see proof of one.
I was in class all day yesterday, I am curious though, what would you like to see, specifically? I'm already level 13 on my Wizard, with maxed Artisans, and I will probably be streaming because I'm attempting to find out what the max level for the Templar is currently. There really isn't much Beta content to play, once you play it once (and Force and I both played it for 4 hours at the Press Event), you're done really. Help me help you, ;).

There are tons of people who aren't hardcore fans that are only just now knowing any sort of Beta has started due to sites like IGN and Gamespot only starting to talk about it yesterday. That means a lot of people are racing to press sites to see good videos and that's where you'll step in. I'm still watching your content because I'm clearly obsessed with this series but I just wanted to point out to the OP that it wasn't worth being impatient for if you're already a hardcore fan in-the-know.
not sure why you thought there would be someone at Blizzard sending out invites at 2AM..
they are just emails and account activations...can all be done automatically with a job scheduled to run overnight to spread out the server load
anyway I haven't seen any evidence that non-press/F&F have gotten in so they are probably still having meetings about what hardware profiles from the opt-in to prepare invites for
You had information poured all over you once F&F beta started. You're not going to get anything new from these guys just more intelligent commentary (but no actual new information) and higher resolution streams. If you're not dumb you learned everything there is to know just by watching others play even if their streams were lower quality or had bad commentary.
Which is exactly why i (and i assume most people on this site) would prefer their videos over anyone else.

Now the Ferrari shows up at your doorstep but you don't need it anymore. If you're upset because Force and Co. haven't finished making videos of them (more eloquently) regurgitating what you should already know, I don't think anyone can help you.
The next useful info I'm sure will come out of here will be patch notes (since they will be posted very quickly unless you're F5'ing the Official Beta forums), beta giveaways, and possibly credible leaks on a release date.

wow 3 years for Diablo expansion? The WoW expansions have to amount to a hell of a lot more work and I don't think any of them took that long. I know he said "within 3 years" but really it should have read 2.
