blizzard can go ... themselves.

i dont want to create hype anymore, but honestly that artstyle is different then what we got with d3. this one looks a bit better and fitting in my opinion. a bit more realistic, but still consisting overly used colors(too much blue everywhere, just like act 5 with westmarch. why everything must have a dominant color? thats lazy and sucks hard. blizzard assuming its players as pure idiots who cant distinguish two different zones without obvious color differencies. you are swimming in red colors? then you are in your way to the butcher. you swarm in yellow? then you are on your way to belial. its too damn obvious and unrealistic.

and ofcourse, over the top weapon designs. all those weapons look too much thick, big and well.. too much epic. simplicity has its own charm and blizzard still doesnt get it. i mean come on necro had some simple wand in its hand in d2. thats enough and looks good.

i cant say enough about damn art choices. look at this skull in female necro, that thing is has no flesh but it has experssions?! da f.ck? why does it have any expression at all? it doesnt have to have obvious expressions or poses.. its a fature overly used in cartoons. if you are drawing a skull, just draw a skull. natural skulls has halllow and creepy feeling to them.

oh well, i suddenly grew angry. sorry for sounding too negative, but i have to be honest as a diablo fan. i hope we see more art style change in future instead of same one in d3. this image doesnt have some change but imho its not enough.

im just gonna say people who want PvP already left diablo community long time ago.
PvP is super important. maybe not for the ones remain in here but for the total of potential players. many friends of mine didnt even touched the game after blizzard said they will not bring any form of PvP to d3. hell, 2 of them even started boycotting blizzard and they still didnt spend a penny on a blizzard game.

druid resource idea sounds awesome. i really liked it.

yeah i have my doubts about that. i recall they said "engine cant support really crowded screens" or something like that. they were not really happy with it... why would they use it again in d4? if you say, an improved, fixed version of that engine, then it may be true.

no i dont want a d2. i just want an atmosphere close to d2. but still, thank you for your answers. its always nice to read somethings towards future of diablo, be it acctually true or not. this whole time travel thing.. seems wierd to me. about the things you write... i always thought time travel to be a cheap card: "save this situation we are in!" so i again, hope this isnt true. about skeletons and necromancy stuf.. i guess that whole mechanical looking golem & armor thing is connected to china... if i recall correctly, china doesnt allow skeletal looks in games. so this is maybe the real reason behind that concept. imho, in sanctuary, i dont think steampunk, machines and stuff like that has any place. Hots have those wierd skeletons who dont even look like skeletons at all.. and i totally hate it. necro should look like necro.. a summoner of death. it would be a big shame if blizzard make poor excuses to cover up skeletal parts in a future diablo.

besides, you didnt talk about atmosphere, graphics, music.. i mean how game feels like. if its not horror, gothic etc etc influenced, then i will be definietly wishing you are a troll. i cant stand another diablo game with WoW spirit.

oh wait! some claims "not d4 but a different game of diablo?" which one is true?

this is so exciting i cant wait for blizzcon!
